Meijers in Midland has it over in the bakery by the frozen ice cream cakes.  They have a rack of SF baked goods.  Cookies, muffins, quick breads, pies and angel food cake.  The pies are pretty gross.  My husband tried one.  The muffins he loved.  Cookies were ok.

Nan,

It is a can of pinapple in its own juice, a box of sf vanilla pudding and container of coolwhip.  Not sure if she used SF or not, but regardless, regular doesn't have that much sugar like 2 grams per serving and you don't have the sugar alcohols.

I also do it like Jan does with pistachio pudding, pinapple, coconut, cool whip and nuts.  I have done it like BM does too.  Once you get started, the options are limitless.

I also mix pudding with some milk and then fold it into coolwhip for a mousse type dessert.  I bet it would be good in the peanut butter crust we were talking about last night.

This sounds like "Better than Sex Cake!"

I bake one yellow cake mix.
( make one form scratch and control Sweetener)
Poke Holes in it
Pour 1 can crushed pineapple over it
Pour SF  1 box prepared Pistachio pudding over that
Spread 1 large tube SF cool whip over that (make it hilly)
Sprinkle with toasted Coco nut.
Sprinkle with chopped Peanuts
Decorate with maraschino cherry halves (Optional)

Let set over night in the fridge and serve cold.

Only problem is you can't stop eating it. So Addictive.

They do have low sugar cake mix now -- think it comes in yellow and white flavors.

Ok, I have to chime in with what I do.

1 box SF orange jello
1 cont. cool whip
1 large cont. cottage cheese
drained pineapple tidbits
drained manderain oranges
sometimes I add chopped walnuts and a little coconut.

My little one loves it and asks me to make it all the time.

The cottage cheese salad is good with other flavors of jello too.....I  also use lime and cherry.   Keep it in my fridge all the time -- makes a quick snack that's high in protein.

Nan . . . looks like you got some pretty good recipes to work with.

Mine was just 20 oz pineapple tidbits in there own juice . . do not drain
small box of sf instant vanilla pudding
small tube of cool whip free

mix all together and let set about 1/2 hour . . I try to keep ingredients on hand because it's so easy to whip together if you need something in a hurry.

I just finished the rest of it with dinner tonight.

Thanks for hosting the meeting  . . I got a lot out of it!

Thanks Kristy, I  did write all these recipes down!  I am going to buy these things as staples in my groceries because you're right, it's so easy to whip together and very high in protien if you add the cottage cheese like Pat said.

I got a lot out of the meeting last night too.  I'm still chuckling about you saying 'no, they aren't gone yet' about the pretzels (LOL!!)  You are a crack-up.  And thanks for sharing your tummy tuck!!  I hope you keep feeling better every day!

I too would like to thank Nan for having us in her home. There was some yummy looking things there for sure.
So has anyone started the 15 min journal yet? I have thought about it but have not started. Will have to work on it the next couple of days. I got a lot out of the meeting also. The sharing of the positives and negatives I think went well.
Went to Pam's site to find the recipe for the Chi Tea, but couldn't find it. Will have to check it out again, she should file a patent on it!
