Almost 1 year out and Ive hit my goal of 150 lbs.  Total loss 140 lbs.  I went from size 24 to size 8.  I am glad I had the VSG.  But now I worry because I am still losing.  I just want it to stop so I dont start looking sick.  I posted new pics on my account.  A lot of people say the new me looks like a totally different person.

I checked out your photos.  What a difference.  Can you believe it yourself????  I'm halfway to my goal right now and it's only been 3 months.  I was a lightweight (ya right) tho.  I'd like to hit 140, but people I talk to say that's too small.  We'll see.  When I got married I weighed 150 and wore a size 12.  I wouldn't mind seeing that again too, or either.
You've done a fantastic job.  I hope my RNY works as well for me as your VSG worked for you.
Congratulations.

Congratulations on hitting your goal!  How exciting!

I believe our bodies know when to stop - especially if we are still eating properly.  There also is the "bounce back" factor to consider.  5-10 lbs is a good cushion to plan for.

I too was going to be happy with 150 - but when I kept losing and got below that I was happy.  Now I hang between 125-130, which works for me.  Yes, I'd like to get to 120 to have  a little more cushion, but my body has decided this is where it wants to be.
