Hi Pam,

Have you ever said Love you, but didnt have it reciprocated?  That happened to me yesterday morning, with my oldest brother.  I mean, we arent very close, but I love him.  He's going thru a rough time with a divorce.  I am glad I said it though.  and we arent SPOSEDTA say things just to get a response, thats my ego showing its ugly face.  Anyways, just my thoughts...

I agree with you Pam, but I have to add saying it sincerely.  I have a sis-in-law who tells us all "I love you"...ALL THE TIME....under any cir****tance...so much so, it's lost all meaning from her.   It drives us crazy!!

Good morning everyone!

I had my breakfast and now just finishing up some protien coffee.  I just threw some things in it and it tastes pretty good...coffee, unflavored protein powder, cinnamon and some SF carmel flavoring :-)

QOTD:  I have to agree with everyone on the 'please' and 'thank you'.  I have to admit my kids are pretty good about remembering those words.  I would also like to add "I appreciate".  I don't think people tell others often enough how much they appreciate them.  I think we all take people for granted at some point or another.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning all,

Just finishing some coffee mocha, then on to breakfast, not sure what I'm going to have yet.

I'm home sick today, I could have dragged myself in, but I really don't feel good and I have the time so I'll take care of myself today :).

Q:  This week at work I said the word "alas" (I think that's how you spell it), my co-worker and I said that we liked that word and people should use it more often.....how ironic.
But as for society, I totally agree with manners...please, thank you, your welcome.....all good.  It's funny when I got cancer some wonderful things happened in my family....we make sure we all stay in touch, we say "I love you", when we see each other in person we hug, hello and goodbye.  It has really been nice, and 5 years later, we still do it!  So I agree with Pam, go tell someone you love them today and give them a big hug.

Have a great day all,

Edie
