Good morning everyone. What's on your agenda for the day?My boys and I are gettting ready to go to our local general store to sell popcorn for the scouts.Very expensive yet pays for the extras for the scouts. It is raining here and gloomy so I will have to bundle up and bear it.Being a parent is tough, lol. The hunters and fishermen are in abundance in these parts this weekend.
QOD:Anyone going to the stop the obesity walk in Grand Rapids next Saturday? My support group is going but I had to back out due to another nurse at work going on fmla so I couldn't get the day off as we work every other weekend.I will have to cheer everyone on from work.Have a relaxing Sunday everyone!

 Good morning all!

The Wellness Expo was a huge success.  I'm exhausted after a long week of last minute details and 2 long days on my feet. I burned a million calories and didn't eat enough and didn't do well on vitamins and water....  so I'm glad to be back on routine.  Today is a pajama day - unless I decide to go catch a movie or hang at the bookstore.  It's all about relaxation today.

QOTD -- Next Saturday is our MI OH meet up, so I plan to be there instead of the Walk from Obesity event in Grand Rapids.  Although even without the meet up, I probably wouldn't go -- it's a 3 hour drive from Saginaw and I'm still nursing my knee injury so walking causes pain.

Have a great day all!

Glad to here your expo went well.  I plan on going to cider mill on Saturday if all keeps going well.  My niece, the RN thinks I may have a small infection around the new belly button so I'm laying low until I see the Doc next week.

Enjoy PJ day!

It was a pj day here too.  I just got dressed long enough to go bring the grand-baby back so his brother could go to a movie with my other daughter and g-kids.

Tomorrow back to work on the barn with my Dad.  He is taking my brother being back in the hospital with pneumonia and on a respirator hard.  He has no immune system due to the chemo.

Nope, can't go... sorry. We live downriver and its like 3 hours away, (my sister lives in GR). We are also having a bday party for my stepdaughter. She'll be 16.

Nothing much so far... got up way to early so I am going back to bed soon.... But we are cleaning/scrubbing the house for next weekend. I hate it when my MIL comes over, she won't even use our hand towel in the bathroom because she "dont know who used it last". Please... I am so done with her its sickening... sorry to vent...

Have a good day :)

Good morning!

Just had some ham and breakfast potatoes for breakfast at the hotel, a cup of milk and am working on my coffee.

Didn't know about the obesity walk in Grand Rapids. It will be my only weekend home before going away for another month, so I don't know what I'll be doing.  Its 2 1/2 hrs from me, but sounds like something I wouldn't mind knowing more about.  If I drive to DC I'll probably leave on Sat to stay with my daughter in Brighton before heading out on Sunday.

No coffee yet.

QOTD:  I was going to go to church.  I go in Houghton.  It's 1/2 hr from me.  I decided not to after going there the last 2 days and falling asleep behind the wheel both times.  I was also going to go shopping for groceries.  I did bake the kids blueberry muffins though so far.  It'll be a lazy day today.
