Well TGIF Michiganders!
Awoke very early this morning and could not go back to sleep. Having some of PamT's  Chia Tea recipe. What's in your Cup?

Since I have been checking in to MI/OH pretty late in the day, thought I would give this a try.

I need more motivation to get up and exercise for some reason that is my down fall.
I joined the gym with a friend but she backed out and won't go
so I paid for my daughter to go and she won't get out of bed early enough.
I bought a bike but the seat hurts my bum. Some times I think that it is becoming embeded in my rear. Hope that gets better after I lose some more lbs. LOL
I walk around the parks by my home that has a 1/4 mile track but when it rains I get to stiff.
I have a million excuses that always seems acceptable to my mind.
so I guess my first of five needs to be NO EXCUSES!

QOTD:  What five motivational techniques do you perform to get you going to the gym or do your exercise?
               Is it music, a trade off, What can we do to become more proactive in our fitness?

Good morning.I had a cup of coffee on my way home from work worked nights just got home.Got to take the boys to school as my oldest got kicked off the bus for fighting.Then home to sleep I go.
QOD:I just go.I don't have any motivation except I want to lose weight and keep it off so I just do it like NIKE lol.I also used to make excuses but now I find the more I do the better I feel so I just do the things I need to do to at least maintain where I am now.I bought a fat seat for my bike padded and jelly like.It feels so good.The neighbor even sat on it and made funny noises due to how good it feels,lol.Good luck hopefully you will find the motivation you need.

Hi Danielle

I remember those days when I worked midnights and my kids were in school
My son had ADD and was always getting into fights on the bus. That is one of the reasons I worked midnights. so I could be home if the school called. Hubby had to work afternoons too.
I use to think that it was me being punished when the school put disciplinary action on the kid. I never under stood why they could not Just make them polish the bus or some thing. In stead it was us the parents that had to rearrange their schedules to accommodate the schools penance.

All I can say is it will get better, They grow up and have to live in the real world. And eventually they have children of their own. LOL

Good Morning All,

 

This morning I am having my usual, protein shake.  I seem to tolerate that  the best in the morning. 

QOTD--Right after surgery I walked 4 time a day on my treadmill for a total of 4 miles.  After I could join the gym I go just about every day.  I walk 1 mile and hit the machines.  Never the same thing two days in a row.  I feel like I get less exercise now that I joined the gym.  Yet I have no motovation to get back on the treadmill later in the day at home.  I am having a hard time with motovation as well. 

Mary it is to bad we do not live closer we could have been gym partners.

QOTD:  I need others to be with me to get it done.   I took my cousin yesterday and we stayed the whole hour and maybe longer.  I was beat.  As for my walking every evening around the area, I take the kids with me.  I take my ipod too, but don't always use it.  When I am alone I NEED it to concentrate on.

I like to have somebody to go with me to that way I don't feel so insecure about strangers looking at my beautiful body.

It also helps to make the time go by faster.

Well, I am bending all rules this morning, and on my 4th 16 oz coffee. 

Have had a few bad days, and a really late night last night.  Got about 3 hours sleep, and today is my bosses last day.  We have worked together for 5.5 years, and it is going to be hard to say goodbye.

My other issues, I posted about, the school wants to test my son for being autistic.

QOTD:  I use a reward system.  Set goad, achieve, and I get something new.  It may be a cd, a nice lunch with my girlfriend, a new top, new jewelry.  It can be a new tube of lipstick or nail polish or your favorite special treat.

I should create a goal/reward chart for exercise

if I go 1 day = some prize
if I go 2 days= a better prize
if I go 3 days = ? prize
