Update on Kristy

I'm so glad you're doing well!

Just wait a few weeks.  You can't really appreciate the flatness right now.  I'm sure you're sore and puffy from the IV, etc.   One day you'll look in the mirror and be amazed at how you look!

This is gross, but I'm going to share anyway....a few weeks ago I was in the shower and went to lift up my hanging tummy to wash under it, and I ended up whacking myself in the face because there was nothing there to lift up!

I don't want to step on anything your surgeon told you, but I have been using Bio-Oil (got it at Target) since my incision healed up.  I usually get really thick, red scars.  My scar looks great, except for being in the shape of that line on charlie brown's shirt.......

Anyway....glad you're with your mom and dad and doing well.  Keep us posted!!

Thanks for the laugh Brenda . . . I can see myself doing the same . . it already feels weird!

I'm going to get some of the Bio-Oil, I still haven't been able to shower I'm hoping it will be soon.
I'm cut just like and anchor all the way between my boobs . . he said if I wasn't getting them lifted right now he would tighten the skin under them for support and I believe it may have worked.

Glad to hear your up and round even if its only for a few mins. I understand the toilet extender, after I had my Heart by-pass it was my BFF too! Matter of fact I also used it the first week I was home after my RNY surgery.  I had heard that the tummy tuck was very painful but everyone says it was worth it.. Hope you have a Speedy Recovery!!
