Very Hurt
Please forgive me for this rant but I am at home and you guys are the closest outlet I have. My neice sold her house and she has a big swing that my husband made. The lady that bought her house wanted the swing as part of the "deal". My husband passed away 2 years ago in May. I am so hurt. I would have taken the swing, my oldest daughter would have taken it. How do you give away something that she KNEW ment so much to others. I am in tears.

You need to meet with your niece over a coffee or such. Have a talk with her and tell her how much it means to you. She most likely wasn't thinking. Give her a chance to talk with the buyer. Give everybody a chance first. If that doesn't work try talking to the buyers them self.
If that doesn't work, I would be hurt too.

I am so sorry.I hope you can persuade your niece or the buyer to come to their senses.I understand my mother passed away 9 years ago.My parents had a home here my mother adored and my father sold it last year for the money( which he has gotten into financial problems twice since she passed).I also felt that grievance when he sold the home.I cannot bring myself to drive past there yet. That is a chapter in my life I am not ready to reopen.I will pray for you and your daughter.
Thank you all for your kind words. My neice had no attachment to it and she knew we did. I guess I should take solis in the fact the buyer loved it enough to make it a part of the deal. I hope she gets many years of enjoyment from it. It is big enough that you can take a nap on it.
Thanks again
