Good Morning!
It's Wednesday and time for a wake-up call! Time to post then it's off to orientation to work with Nurses' Aide students at the Community College. Love working with students!
Do you have a mug in your hand and what's in it? Will be having decaf and black for my trip to the job.
QOTD-Do you deal with any sabotage on your WL journey? Mostly people have been very supportive, but my in-laws, who never have had weight issues, will tell me to stop loosing. They will tell me to start eating a little more (I don't need any help with that). Is this love? Go figure
Have a good one!

Good Morning Everyone,

In my coffee cup is strawberry protein.  I am not usually a coffee drinker although I love hot tea.
I would like to say thank you to everyone.  I love to read the posts.  They are a good source of comfort to me no this journey. I am 10 weeks out and I have started to feel sad all of a sudden.  I am not usually a sad person but something has gotten hold of me.  Is that a normal stage??  Anyway you all have become very dear to me even though I don't post very much(might change that).

QOTD-My parents will tell me all the time you should not be eating that.  I do not eat bad things if anything I am very strict so I do not understand their logic.

Have a great day

Cheryl

Glad to see you posting, Cheryl.  Sometimes it helps to put thoughts and feelings out there on this site.  Apparently the strawberry protein isn't too bad eh?  I've been afraid to try it.
Sounds like Genaw did your surgery about the same time he did mine.  I haven't come into the sad stage yet.  I think I've just been too busy, and frankly hope I don't see it.  This morning while drying my hair I did notice that it's getting a little thin on top in the front.  I've been taking biotin right along to hopfully slow the hair loss, but apparently it's catching up with me.
Keep up the good work.

Cheryl,

Sorry this has taken so long, I've been out of town.

Sadness at this stage is very normal.  When you loose allot of fat, your also dumping allot of estrogen (it's stored in our fat cells), so being sad, unmotivated....is very normal.

It may take a few weeks, but it will pass.

Good luck and keep posting,

Edie

Good morning Deb and fellow Michiganders! It's "Hump Day"!!
Bought some wonderful Pumpkin coffee at Sam's Club. OMG...I drank a half pot! I added cinnamon and some DiVinci SF carmel flavor and it was yummy! Now I'll be running around here with all this caffeine in me...I drinking water now.

QOTD: Sabotage in our WLS? Hummmm....I think we will all come across that during our journey to get to our goal size. People are strange, they don't want YOU to be the thin one. I'm just the right size for me and I'm not going back to being a plus size.

Morning y'all.
I have a mug, but it's got iced tea in it.  I have one mother of a headache this morning, so I decided to try some tea and see if the caffeine helps.  So far it hasn't.  There are crickets all over the office and the noise is making it almost unbearable!  Ugh!

QOTD-I haven't really had to deal with anything like that, thank goodness.  There was one guy at work (I took over his position) that was really mean about the surgery, but he's gone now, so I don't have to worry about it.  My big fear now is seeing that jerk and I just know he'll look at me and say "see, I told you that you couldn't lose weight".  I think if I ever do see him I'll pretend I don't know who he is.

Hope you all have a good day!

One of the earliest symptoms of swine flu is tasting like bacon. So if you suspect someone is infected, give them a good lick.
