Good morning Michiganders.
Well, we haven't had rain since August 29th, so I guess this is to be expected.  It's really pouring out there.  Hard for the dogs to go out, but it'll keep things green for a while more.  Had a wonderful weekend with Gary up here.  He left me a honey do list, but that's ok.  I can handle it.
Today I'm planning on making another trip to Goodwill with some stuff.  Then to the post office to mail my niece some photos.
Nothing much else is going on.  Oh, I've gotten hooked on playing Bejeweled.  I go to MSN.com and play for free.  Probably will spend most of this rainy day playing too.  Last night I kept saying, after this game I'm going to bed.  I'll bet I did that for probably an hour and a half!
Hope you all can make the best of this rainy day.

Good Morning,
I don't know if it's my computer at work, or if Deb hasn't had her coffee yet, but I can't see anything that she posted except for the subject.  I can see Jan's reply, though.

I am at work, drinking CL cherry pom and it's pretty good.  I don't mind rainy days since I don't do a whole lot outside anyway.

It feels like it's going to be a long week for me....how about you guys?  I think we're in that time of year (for my family) where nothing is going on after the back to school rush.  We overspend our budget this time of year on BTS, so we just don't do much.  I am already looking forward to Thanksgiving and a day off of work!  Maybe that's because I cooked a turkey dinner last week and it made the house smell like the holidays.......

Have a good day everyone!

PS-my QOTD is:  Where is Deb's post?  LOL

This is just too strange! I went back to edit the post and there it is, but it doesn't post for some reason-Gremlins I guess Here it is:

Tomorrow is the first day of Fall. Can't think of anything better to celebrate than a cup of hat morning decaf and black. What's in your this morning.
How was your weekend? Went to a Harvest Festival Sunday to listen to a Bluegrass band-Greensky Bluegrass. Rode our bicycles there as no cover charge for cyclists. Fun times and good music. The place where it was held will teach you how to farm with oxen or horses. Will keep that in mind :-).
QOTD-What was the highlight of your weekend? Was it something you accomplished on your weight loss journey? Was it an event? We also went to the Allegan County Fair on Saturday and walked around looking at all the displays and animals. The draft horses are always my favorites.
Have a great Monday!

Yea Fall!!!

QOTD:  My weekend was fine.  I stuck close to home.  We picked fruit from our trees and brought them to my grandmother.  We got 3 huge pumpkins for real cheap at a mom/pop store.  Sure they probably won't last long enough but I like looking at them!  I was going to bake, decorate for fall/halloween, crafts, walk, go to Copper Harbor and a million other things lol.  I ended up just relaxing.  It was nice.  I am almost over my cold.

In regards to my weight loss journey I accomplished several baby steps.  I journaled my food intake for 1 day, took suppliments and had some protein.  It's still a work in progress but I am trying.

I am with you Brenda that is all I can see too.

Maybe that is caused by the Equinox????????????????? (twilight zone Music)

tried some new protein powder Bio-chem Greens and Whey. Got it at Zerbo's in single serving container. Yucky! and that is all I am going to say about that.

QOTD: It is going to be the longest week ever for me. Friday is my return apt with the surgeon. That is when I will finally get my surgery date. I know this will seem like and eternity.

no rain here yet. Hubby made it back from Hawks with the yard tractor , wood splitter and the car hauler. that tractor looks like it just came from the store. Let me know if any one is interested in buying them PM me. I will probably put them on E-bay soon.

Good morning all -

Finished my protein chai tea and fake latte already this morning.  Breakfast is right around the corner.

QOTD -- I have a friend who left Michigan to be a missionary with her husband in Mexico.  She was back for a visit and some of our scrapbooking friends met up to spend the day with her in Grand Rapids on Saturday.  It was good to catch up with everyone.  Then Sunday I headed over to Saugatuck for the day to play tourist.  Found my way to Oval Beach and enjoyed the sunshine and sand for a couple hours.  While on the beach I pulled out my Emotional Journal that I started at the beginning of my WLS journey.  After several pages of writing I have some renewed goals to work on and a renewed committment to use the journal more often.

Morning  everyone
Looks like the rain is over here for now,  but forecast says more possible all day.  I don't  mind  rain.  I am drinking water this am.  Nothing else in the house.  Don't even have milk for Bitty boots here  but she is happy with her hot cocoa.    First on my Monday list is the grocery store then the shrink for the little one.

QOTD  We spend the weekend in Mackinaw City.  Its beautiful up there!    We went through the restored fort and the old mill state park.     Oh the questions from curious little gal.    She loved the big water!!     She ran and ran looked for stuffs.  Her words .  brought home a beach pail of treasures  and she slept for the first time Since I have had her with out being drugged!!!   maybe the weekend and the beauty up there with all tha****er helped wash some of the pain from her spirit and soul.    That was the very best thing about my weekend  was seeing a broken little person act Like a normal   3 yo!!!!
Have a great day everyone

I had a bad weekend food wise.  I had trouble eating anything due to being too tight.  I'm hoping it is just from the stress of showing our animals, dealing with the two grandson and of course the biggest kid, the DH.  I couldn't eat anything!  Only got a couple cookies down.  Nothing else would go.  Sitting here slooowly eating yogurt.

As far as the good, one of our bucks (male pygmy goat) went permanent, four grands.  One of our Permanent buck won two Master champions.  (This is a challenge of all the Permanents that no longer show in the regular competition.  Four of these and they are a Master, Permanent champion.)

Today is our anniversary!  So hope today works better food wise.

The youngest DD's BF had a great moment, he WON a 5K.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
