Doctor for DS and insurance?

Does anyone know a good Dr. who is currently doing the DS, and does insurance ever pay for it? I'm getting a revision from the lap band (which is Broken). I have BCBS and they did pay for the band 5 years ago. Thanks much!

Dr. Hares @ St. John in Madison Heights does them.  Watch out though, a lot of insurances will only pay for a DS if your BMI is over 50.  I was initially going for that but was told I had no chance in hell because of my BMI, which is 35.  I'm also a Lap-Band patient converting to an RNY. You might want to call BCBS and find out what their requirements are for covering a DS.
