How long will my stomach be making all of these noises? And when does the gas go away?

I'm not versed with Lap Band, but my stomach noises have never gone away - they're just louder some days than others...

The gas from the surgery can come/go for a week or so - I had a problem with the gas lodging in my shoulder - painful.

Keep moving, walking and sipping your water.  Walking will help get the gases moving.

Congratulations on your surgery!

My stomach still makes noise and I'm two months out.  I didn't have very bad gas and it was gone within a week.  Keep moving to get rid of it.

The noises will settle down in time. Gas will never completely go away. Since my lap-band I've been more gassy both ways. Taking Gas-X or something with simethicone can help with it..

gas- X makes a dissolve on your tongue strip now

It is not to bad and is very helpful.
Also try Papaya tablets from GNC.
They are good for gas and indigestion too.
