Good Thursday Morning!
What's in your mug this morning? Starting a pot of decaf and black in a few minute.
Pretty brisk and cool this morning. Love these crispy fall mornings....
Colin, my grandbaby, is now up to 11 pounds. He's smiling and starting to "talk." I get to grandma-sit tomorrow night
Went to Kohl's yesterday and the Christmas trees are up. Not ready for that!
QOTD-Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I am looking at things already for ideas. I'm researching toys for Colin. May start early in order to streach the budget a little better over the holidays. But, it just comes up too fast.
Have a good one!

Morning!

I'm starting the day off drinking a tall glass of milk.  Something I never do and after this morning probably won't do again LOL!

QOTD:   I have started my Christmas shopping.  This year I started out early and was watching the clearance racks.  I got quite a few toys from Target at 75% off that the girls are really into.  Nothing for my older boy yet, he's 10.5 and in between the "kids" toys and the "grown up" toys.   Not sure what he'll be into then.

Hi Deb and everyone.
I'm at work, drinking water.  Actually, no, I'm not.  I HAD a water when I walked in, but I've lost it somewhere.  I think I'll take a break and go find it in a few minutes.

QOTD-Oh yeah!  I have a shelf in my closet that's already filled with stuff.  I was at Costco last week and they had some things that were too good to pass up for Dave's aunts.  I usually don't wait until the last minute, unless it's something that I don't have time to go out and get.  I'm an early holiday person.  In fact, I will probably put up my Halloween village this weekend if I can get someone to bring them in from the garage.  Like Suzanne, I want to have time to enjoy my stuff!

Have a good day!

I just gave away a bag of clothes because they are too small

I wish I would have kept my fat clothes because I have nothing to wear to work!!

I have the shirt and pants that I wore when the OH group went to Boogie Fever (see the pic of Shannon and I in my profile).  I have gained almost 40 lbs. since then and I won't be able to wear that again.  I should throw it away so it will quit haunting me every time I open the closet!!

Hey, Hey, Good morning to y'all,
Since I am in Kentucky at the moment, I had to include the y'all !! We've been attending the National Quartet Convention in Louisville since Monday. What a great few days. Food wasn't too hard to get or plan, since I'm now on soft foods, so I was thankful for that.
This morning I've made a banana protein shake.....We had to take an extra suitcase just for food; isn't that funny? !  I've got a bunch of Pam's Hot Chai Tea with me, too, so I'm all set, along with a few protein bars, a hard boiled egg from the morning continental breakfast, and we'll see what is available when we stop at Cracker Barrel on the way home today.
QOTD: Isn't there a great toy company that is named something like "Child Development..."?
They have tons of educational toys we can indulge our grandkids with....things that we as parents didn't think about or maybe couldn't afford at the time?
No, no Christmas shopping in sight yet...well, maybe a few stocking stuffers here and there.

Have a great day!!

Good Morning!
I'm drinking protein hot chocolate this morning.   I could get back under the covers for a while but have things to do this morning,  dogs have a 9:00 appointment for a little grooming.

QOTD- I have already started . . we are going to something different this year, my kids and I are going to do stocking for each other.  I have always done stockings for them,  when they were little they loved all the little treasures I would find, now they will be doing one for me.   Last Christmas morning my GD daughter asked why I didn't get a stocking because I was such a good Granny . . . I love the way she thinks!
I do already have my porch all decked out for fall - I also love to have the time to enjoy it.

Have a good day!

Good morning!  I was without internet for 2 DAYS!!! Holy cow.  I'm so addicted!  Was at my inlaws' and their internet went out about 5 minutes before I got there.  Comcast fixed it about 5 minutes before I left the next day.  So...no OH...no Facebook...no email...no Yahoo messenger!  Told ya, I'm addicted!

I've had my coffee and am thinking about some breakfast...not sure what I'll have.  No big plans for the day.  Just hanging at home with Dub.

I have a small update on my cousin's baby.  His name is Jace William.  Anyway, he's on a respirator, now.  The brain tumor is very aggressive - "worst form of cancer" is what my aunt's email said.  They (I'm assuming docs and family) will have a meeting tomorrow to decide what to do.  It's all very sad.  Thank you, all, for your thoughts and prayers!

QOTD:  No Christmas shopping yet.  I'm a last minute shopper!  We don't really buy family gifts, just all the kids.  I have 5 nephews under 7, plus DUB, and 2 nieces in their 20's (yes, the nieces still get presents from us!).  Hubby and I generally don't buy each other gifts.  Heck, we don't even put a tree up, but I imagine that will change in the coming years!  Not sure what we'll get Dub.  He'll be 7 months, so maybe just a few toys to open, so he can play with the paper and the boxes and ignore the toy!  LOL!

My extended family does the white elephant gift exchange (or whatever it's called...ya know the game where you can "steal" other gifts).  We have SO much fun with it!  Last year, we had about 50 people with cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.  Was a blast!  And there were good gifts!

Enjoy the day!  Tina

That I do, but I don't get a good signal in the house and didn't feel like sitting outside for 2 days.  LOL!
