OT: Thoughts and prayers for my cousin's baby.

I don't feel like there's too much I can do for them, since they live 3 states away, so I thought I'd come here and ask for thoughts and prayers for my cousin and his wife's baby.

They had a little boy about 2 weeks ago.  At his one week appointment, the doc was concerned with the size of the baby's head as it was larger.  They were sent for a CAT scan (or MRI...forget which) to find that the baby has a brain tumor.  We've been getting bits and pieces of info through the grapevine of aunts and uncles, but last I knew, they operated to remove, but found more.  They aren't sure what exactly it is.  He is having seizures.  They have him on a feeding tube.  He also gets his meds this way.  The last update I got via text said the baby's blood pressure was dropping and they put in a PIC line.

I feel so very bad for them.  This is their second child.  They have a 2 year old daughter.

If you feel so inclined, please pray for them and keep them in your thoughts.  Their names are Justin and Chandra.  I don't even know the name of the baby, yet.  Thank you!  Tina

I am so sorry to hear this.

I will keep Justin and Chandra and their children, especially the new born, in my thoughts and prayers.

May the Almighty protect and guide then and their family through these trials.

Please keep up posted.

You've got my prayers.  I know only too well what it's like to have a baby in the NICU.
Miracles do happen, we'll pray for one.

We'll say some prayers for their family.

Miracles are always happening in the NICU, so we'll pray for one more.
