Leaves are changing

I just got in from a longer than usuaul bike ride and I noticed the leaves are starting to change already.It usually happens earlier up here but I was still shocked.A few trees red already and the shorter grasses in the ditches are changing too.I am so afraid of winter this year.I am always cold without my insulation.I am terribley afraid actually!

I noticed some trees around here are red too.  I'm hoping we have a milder winter this year.  I hear last year it was a bear up here.  I know we had a lot of snow to get off the roof when we were up here.  Beautiful weather for the last week and the forecast is high seventies for the next seven days and sunny/dry.  Can't ask for better weather in my opinion.

I really noticed the leaves changing on my way home from Mackinaw City last Sunday. Around here, some trees are starting to change. Yikes, it's just around the corner!

We've had a few around here......very few and far between, but still it's only September 11th!!!

I don't know if the UP changes first but the leaves have been starting to turn for a while now.  I love fall.  Jimi
