How do I find a support group??

Ok, today meeting with Dr. Williams for my evaluation, he stressed to me how very important it would be for me to join a support group. He knows I live up north (2 1/2 hours from Flint) but he told me that there are support groups at Hurley. I was wondering if anyone knows of a group closer to me. I live near Oscoda, West Branch, Alpena......I would even drive further if I knew where to go. (Even Saginaw/Bay City area).

How do I find a support group???

Try googling it.I had a hard time finding one in my area too.Finally found one though.Good luck.I used this site as my only support but now I meet with a group once a week also.

Don't quote me...but I'm pretty sure there is one in Bay City that quite a few people here attend. They all must be gone this weekend. If you don't hear from anyone soon, PM Pam, I believe she leads it.
