Well it early and I am up waiting for my youngest to get in from her night out with the girls.
She got her heart broke by a bum. After a year he dumped her. said he needed time to him self.
We all know what that means.....  he's got some other chick on the line.  Well I didn't think much of him. but he sent her a text message on her phone to break it off. What a jerk.
It's her first boyfriend and we all know how that hurts. She is 21 and I know she will bounce back. She is very pretty and smart too. I is hard to make her see that. right now she is just hurting. So I called her bf and told her the scoop and she got the girls together and out they went. I hope she has a good time and realizes what she has been missing with that idiot.

QOTD: Do You remember your first love? Did it work out? If not what did you do to get over it?

Oh my word...do they even sell Sanka any more?  My grandparents always had that after dinner.

I am up early this morning, hanging out with Nick, who doesn't really get that there is no school, and these are his last days to sleep in!

Reading your post made me want a girl's night really bad!  Haven't had one of those in a while.  But, to answer your question, I suppose my first love was my ex husband.  We started dating when I was 15, got married at 18.  We moved to Germany and North Carolina, and back here again, and then had the boys.  The whole time he was an abusive, alcoholic jerk.  I stayed with him because I just didn't know how to support myself.  He ended up leaving "US" for someone he met on the internet.  Best thing that ever happened to me!  LOL

Revenge is sweet, though.  Here we are 12 years later and I am married to a great guy and happier than I ever was.  My ex is in a miserable marriage, very unhappy, and has repeatedly cheated on his wife (the "woman" he left me for).  So I guess it all works out in the end.  Too bad you don't listen when you are a kid and people try to tell you that some guys are just no good!!!

Hope you all have a great Saturday!!!

GNO?  DID SOMEONE SAY GNO?  What's that?  LOL!  You plan the next one.  The ones I plan aren't that exciting...but I'll make strawberry pretzel stuff.

Long ago...(remember Suzanne?) we used to have in-person get togethers with people from the board that lived close to each other.
Maybe it's time to start that up agin?

Of course, with my luck, no one will show up and it will be and one stalker person that no one knows.  That's my luck!  LOL

Yeah, I remember!  Our night out at Boogie Fever was fun!  I tried to plan a get together at the ice rink...remember?  They closed the public skate that day for a party and never told me until we all got there.   Didn't we try to plan a thing out at one of the apple orchards or something last year?  I forget.

I would be up for meeting, even if we just met somewhere for lunch or dinner or something.

Alrighty, if we're going to do this anytime before Christmas, we'd better set the date now!

Are we sticking to Metro Detroit?  Who lives where?  What time is good?
