Five for Friday and some coffee talk too

Morning All

At work this morning expecting a real quiet day.  The Mall is generally dead on holiday weekends, so if you need to do some shopping, it would be a good time to get it done.

1.  Best place to spend Labor Day? Generally home, I hate holiday crowds and traffic going North. 

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind?   Walking around my dads property.

3.  Best place for Sushi? Fusion Cafe on Bay City East Side

4.  Best Mall? Ok I work at a mall, so I visit other malls for "work" purposes.  Somerset is one of the top malls in the state. 

5.  Best Hospital?  I like Bay Med.  Had my son there, had my gall bladder removed there, had my cancer treated there.  I have always been pleased with the staff and service.

I'm off today, so I have a 4 day weekend!!!!  Just finished 2 fried eggs w/ Ezekiel bread, yummy.


1.  Best place to spend Labor Day?  It used to be up north on Secord Lake in Gladwin, but now the traffic is so bad I stay home in my own backyard.

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind?  Independence Oaks.

3.  Best place for Sushi?  YUCK!, if you cooked the fish ok, but raw fish, hell no!

4.  Best Mall? Somerset, but there is a really cool place in Scottsdale AZ. The Borgada, unbelievably upscale, but it's an out door mall in a castle, pretty cool.

5.  Best Hospital?  I agree w/ any were that doesn't kill you. :)

1.  Best place to spend Labor Day? Wherever I am invited with family and friends.

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind? Lake Michigan along the dunes

3.  Best place for Sushi? Can't say-its all raw fish to me

4.  Best Mall? Hate the malls, so I would have to say an outlet mall for no more than a couple of hours, unless it is Christmas and I am there to see decorations

5.  Best Hospital? No question.  Detroit Receiving.  I work there and am so proud to be a part of it.

Good morning!  Had a busy day yesterday and wasn't around.  We were up and out of the house at 8AM so I could get the stitches removed from my hand.  Then we headed to my friend's house (we used to teach together).  From there, we went up to the school to visit all of our other teacher friends as they were getting ready to start the school year.  Then it was lunch.  I got home around 4 and left again at 5:30 to hit a bag sale at a kids resale shop for school clothes for my nephews!  Whew!   Then we went out for chinese food with my sister and BIL...

Today, I'm just getting things around to head to my inlaws for the weekend.  Hopefully, Dub naps a little so I can get some of it done before hubby gets home and wants to leave!  

1.  Best place to spend Labor Day?
In Hillsdale, on the lake, with the family.

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind?
Any beach....but preferably somewhere warm. 

3.  Best place for Sushi?
I've had sushi, but don't eat it on a regular basis, so I would have NO idea where to get good sushi....if there really is such a thing.  LOL!

4.  Best Mall?
Not sure about that one either. 

5.  Best Hospital?
I'd have to say U of M.  We had a run in with some TERRIBLE nurses while hubby was there, but overall, I've never really had a bad experience there. 

Been out and about since early AM!
Did the bank run and put hubby food money on his prepaid. Had my ISOfemme with banana and almond extract. And my blood sugar was 109 this am. Haven't lost any weight in a week but I met the goal the surgeon gave me and I still have a couple of weeks until I go back.

Made 12 homemade subs so I don't have to cook for the kids all day. They love them.
I have my chicken and salad later.

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind? walking down Lake May RD.  or sitting on the picnic table in the middle of my 12 acres in Hawks, MI

3.  Best place for Sushi? Not all Sushi is raw fish they do make it with veggies fruit and rice too. But I am not a fan of any of it.

4.  Best Mall? Brown County IN. the little town has the biggest thanksgiving day sales I have ever seen.

5.  Best Hospital? Henry Ford on West Grand Blvd.

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind? Sand lakes Nature trails

3.  Best place for Sushi? I LOVE su****he Fusion Cafe in Frankfort has good sushi, Blue Ocean Japanese Restaurant in Fairfax, VA

4.  Best Mall?  I'm pretty open on that one - a mall is a mall

5.  Best Hospital?  Munson here in TC has an excellent reputation and I've had nothing but good experiences there.
