Thought I would give the ole mornin post a try today.  I am having s/f hot cocoa and choking down my pills.  Still have the high blood pressure two yrs out, grrrr....

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to "dust in the wind"?  Along 5 Mile rd in Northville between Sheldon and Beck rds.

3.  Best place for Sushi?  Tomo in Northville, or Fuji Buffet in Mad Hts.

4.  Best Mall?  Somerset Collection in Birmingham or Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi

5.  Best Hospital?  Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital

I'm working the weekend so my co-workers can go out an play.

1.  Best place to spend Labor Day?  Anywhere north . . spend 25 years Glennie so that's my favorite spot but love Mackinaw Island.

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind?  Bay City State Park - nature trail

3.  Best place for Sushi?  YUCK!

4.  Best Mall?  I'm not a shopper so not sure!

5.  Best Hospital?  Henry Ford

Oh yeah... the nature trails at the State Park are definitely good.  Especially out by Toboco Marsh -- pretty secluded out there through the woods.

Hi all -

Got a short workday at my desk -- training all afternoon that should prove to be beyond boring.  Then I'll be fighting traffic north to get home after work.  Last night's traffic was pretty heavy and it took me an extra 25 minutes to make the trip.  Holiday Fridays are usually horrendous - I'm expecting a 3 hour drive.  Yuck!

1.  Best place to spend Labor Day?
The Beach.  Doesn't matter which beach, as long as my toes are in the sand.

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind?
The Riverwalk in Bay City.  The section that runs from the Southend around 17th Street, east toward M15.  Pretty secluded without much traffic on the path.

3.  Best place for Sushi?
I had the best sushi when I was in Seattle.  It's always best to go out with my friend Sarah - who is half Japanese - she always knows just what to order that tastes the best.

4.  Best Mall?
I'm not really a mall person.  But Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills is a good choice.

5.  Best Hospital?
Has my WLS at Hurley and they did a fine job.  Had my appendectomy at Bay Medical and they did fine too.  Not sure how you rate the best hospital.  I guess if they don't kill you with some medical mistake, that's good right?

Morning B.  I am zombified from days of intermittent sleep.  Please forgive me if I don't make any sense (more than usual).
Have you checked out Yelp.com?  I am totally addicted to this site.  It has local reviews from real people.  Fun way to spend an afternoon.....

1.  Best place to spend Labor Day? For me, at home.  But we used to go to Camp Dearborn in Milford all the time.

2.  Best place to have a soul searching walk while listening to dust in the wind? Hines Park

3.  Best place for Sushi? It should stay in the ocean where it belongs

4.  Best Mall? Fairlane Mall in Dearborn, except there is no Sephora.  For that you'll have to go to 12 Oaks in Novi.

5.  Best Hospital? Still say U of M, despite my issues with a few of their docs.

Day 5 of my liquid diet today, so ... ya know...jello and crystal lite w/protein powder thrown in there for my food.

Going camping this weekend.  Will need to stay strong and not cheat, will be quite a test but  I CAN PASS!
