Good morning everyone!
Here we are, the first day of September! The month of the return of the yellow school bus, turning leaves, and orchards! Love this time of year and especially fall.
What's in your cup this late summer morning? Black and decaf for me.
QOTD-What's in store for you this month? Any goals or plans, personal or otherwise? I have a big weekend coming up. Leaving for the big bike ride tomorrow night. My goal is to finish and have a good time doing it. Been getting the gear together the past couple of days and will practice putting up the tent today.... Big Mac, here I come...
Have a great Tuesday!

Good morning!  Where is everyone? Fall is my favorite season-I love walking in the woods, smelling the crisp air and crunching the crisp leaves and just the hint of scary creatures as Halloween approaches. Of course a visit to the cider mill is a must.

QOTD-What's in store for you this month?
Nothing special, just getting to know Bob better, maybe visiting my sister outside of Muskegon, and staying employed.  All the good things in life.

Good morning!  My usual decaf and protein this morning

QOTD:  I'll be busy this September, as I'm leaving next Sunday for a 9 day vacation in Italy, then when I get back, I'll be home for 2 days then off to Minneapolis for 4 weeks, then Jacksonville FL for 5 weeks.  I'm going to miss the Michigan fall, but see Minnesotas fall....

Fall is a melancholy time of year for me - while the leaves are gorgeous and the air crisp, I know just around the corner is winter, and each year winter is harder on me and depresses me... especially after last year.  We haven't had much of a summer this year, so it has me evern more down - I know, I need to get over it - no one has control over the weather!!!  I just hate being cold..

Good Morning

I definately cannot believe it is September already... I look forward to think month because it is the last full month before the whole holiday marathon that we go through... But I also love going to the apple orchard.

Ladybug and I are home hunkering down for a couple of days.. She is battling a little cold and I just want her to get better so we will be relaxing and doing some housework to keep busy.

QOTD: Nothing big planned this month... We are having a BBQ this weekend with family. And of course there will be an orchard visit probably towards the end of the month... It will be low key I am sure. I am going to be looking forward to baking my apple pies, apple crisp and I think this year I might try some apple cookies that I will have to create I am sure... I love to bake this stuff this time of year.

Have a great day everyone

Good Morning Deb and everyone.
I'm working from home today, so I'm here at the computer in my PJ's.  It feels really cold in here!  I don't like this time of year only because I never have the right clothes for it.  I have gained so much weight that none of my pre-TT pants fit me, so now I have to go shopping (which I normally love, but when it's buying clothes for me I hate it!).  So I'm either freezing or sweating to death because I never seem to have what I need to wear.

QOTD-Getting the kids back to school is the major goal.  That's usually only stressful for a week or so.  Other than that, I don't have any big goals, other than to get some pants that fit me LOL

Hope you have a good day!

Good Morning,
I have just finished making a batch of breakfast "sammies"  a recipe I got from the RNY board.  Well so far they smell great.
I'm have some water in this morning and will have breakfast soon.  My GD and son are still sleeping which is very unusual for this time of the morning so I'm enjoying the silence.
QOTD- On the 16th I have my last visit with the  Dr. before my TT is scheduled and my oldest turns 26 on the 26th . . I love .love this time of year so will be doing lots outside weather permitting.
Today is the day the doctor says I can get out walking after my July car accident so I'm going to get my shoes on and get moving.

Enjoy the day!

Hello all -

I'm really hoping the August and September just decided to swap roles this year and that we'll have a nice hot September to make up for the fall-like August.  One can hope anyway.   Summer is my favorite season and I feel like I missed out on it this year.

QOTD -- September is going to be pretty hectic.  At least work-wise it will be.  I'm coordinating the Health and Wellness Expo for the Brooksie Way which is the first weekend in October.  Huge project that is going to suck up a bunch of my free time with many late nights later this month.  Also have a big awards ceremony that we're preparing for and I'm expecting many tapes of dictation to land on my desk anytime now.  Quarterly newsletter is also due this month.  Plus, one of my bosses is retiring October 1st, so we'll be transitioning him out and a new guy in.

Thankfully there's not a lot of stuff on my personal calendar.  I'll do a couple races this month to keep up with my exercise goal.  I've got a couple photowalks scheduled with my photog clubs and school will continue to suck up a bunch of time -- finishing up summer classes and starting fall classes soon.
