Hump Day Coffee
Hi Deb,
Hmm, my DH woke me up for cashola this morning around 5:45am. I thought everyone knew that the Unemployed were entitled to sleeping in....
QOTD: I HATE reading. always have. I was forced to read some Robert Ludlum books that I tolerated. Right now, I have a Clicker Train Your Dog book, Being the Pack Leader, and My carpet his toilet or something like that... Still havent read them all....
Me and my 1st grader have been to the Library a few times this summer. I tried to read "shane" and well frankly it bored the heck outta me. but it was in the kids section where my daughter was playing with all the cool toys, umm, Not Reading!

Good afternoon. Today I ventured to the grocery store by myself...well by myself with the baby. I went at naptime, thinking that once we got there, I'd put him in the carrier and he'd happily sleep while I was shopping....um...that didn't work. I had to turn him around in the carrier because he was straining his little neck trying to see everything from the carrier (it's one where you are "wearing" the baby). By the time we got to the check out, he was done. But we made it out ok and home.
QOTD: I had LOTS of favorite books growing up. Many of them, I still have. When my sis had my baby shower, we requested books instead of cards. I got MANY great books for him, so hopefully he will love reading as much as me and his daddy do.

Ok...seemingly my picture posting abilities aren't what they used to be. LOL! For some reason photobucket is not resizing my pics correctly, so when I post them they are too big, still. Anyway, the pic of Dub in his bumbo with the book is one of my favorite pics lately. He loves to look at other babies, including his own pictures that I have on my computer.

Hi Michiganders:
I read here everyday but don't often post....
Rainy and cool down here in southwest lower Michigan. More showers and cool temps forecast for the rest of the week......
Tina, your little guy is growing so quickly.....go**** seems like it was just the other day he was born!!!
QOTD: I love love love to read......if a paperback is really good I can fini**** in one afternoon. I've always loved books and most of the time I pick up a dozen or so paperbacks at our church rummage sale for a dime each, read them, and recycle them at the next rummage sale.....I also belong to a Book Club and we've read some real doozies!
Just finished Pearl S. Buck's "The Good Earth" -- didn't think I'd like it -- couldn't put it down. Never read "To Kill a Mockingbird" in high school but we read it for club, and it was wonderful.....then we got a DVD of the movie and watched it.....fun fun. You never know what tidbits of information you will retain from reading.....it's worth every minute you spend with your nose in a book!

Done! Your Ticker:
I had protein shake this am and moved on to green tea and water with C/L.
QOTD: I read Nancy Drew and the Hardy boys. I didn't learn to read until after special reading classed in 4th grade.
My DD's were read-a-holics. They read babysitters club, Saddle club, Judy Blume and I loved reading Shel Siverstein to my kids too.
