I don't know Pam...my sister married a man 16 years older than her, a few years ago.  She "retired" at 45 and they moved to AZ and built a house.

Good morning all -

It's hump day and I'm feeling it.... can't wait for the weekend to be here - get the Crim done and out of the way so I can relax on Sunday.

QOTD -- I think I'm a pretty creative person.  I'm pretty proud of my scrapbooks and knitted/felted purses - and I can create pretty much any type of craft project you put in front of me.  Lately I've been developing (no pun intended) my photography passion and I'm getting better and better.  I get a lot of my creative side from my Mom who is also pretty crafty.

Have a good day all
Pam

Good morning, everyone!  Enjoying my morning cup of coffee at the inlaws house.  Eating part of a leftover veggie sub from the best sub place here, in Hillsdale, for breakfast.  Yesterday, Dub hit the 12 week mark.  Hard to believe!

QOTD:  In 3rd grade, I started taking piano lessons.  I took them until I graduated high school.  I started playing the clarinet in 6th grade and played in all the bands and orchestras I could until I graduated high school.  I sang in choir in college.  I minored in music in collegeToday, I mostly just play the piano for my own enjoyment.  I play my clarinet in the Hillsdale Community Symphony, but didn't play these past few months, but hope to pick it back up in the fall.  My sister's and brother all play some instrument or sing.  We grew up playing in church because our piano teacher was the organist in our church.  So we played most Sundays.
When my hubby went to Desert Storm, my MIL and I started quilting.  Now I don't think I'm particularly talented at it, but I enjoy making them as it's kinda like putting together a puzzle.  I haven't made one in quite a while, but I'm hoping that I can get back into some of my crafts that I used to do since I will be staying home with Dub....haha...I dream of free time already!

Good Morning Michiganders!
I am going to have a protein drink this morning.  Tropical punch I think.  I have been bad about things, like protein, vitamins and water, but I am turning over a new leaf today.  I had my 3-4 month checkup yesterday and they said my labs are perfect and I am right on track.  I am in Onderland :)  Its been a really really long time since I have been here and I gotta say... I like it!

QOTD-  I have no talent. lol
 Have a great day all!!

Good Morning guys.  I'm at work, drinking the purple stuff, driving my boss crazy.  Hahahaha!!

QOTD-Hmmm....well, let's see.  I did some acting when I was in school (there are bad VHS tapes floating around if anyone ever wants to blackmail me) but that's about it.  My youngest son is pretty talented musically.  He plays the baritone in the band at school and the guitar at home.  He just amazes me.  He will watch a video on youtube and then go in his room for an hour and teach himself the whole song.  I'm sure he doesn't get that from me!

We're having Quinoa pasta for dinner....I'll let you know how it is!

good morning everyone.
I had a big banana for breakfast.  It was almost too ripe, so I should have mixed it in with my protein shake.
QOTD:  I don't think I have a specific talent.  I sang with the choirs in school and with the General Motors Employees Chorus.  I've also tried assorted crafts, made a queen sized quilt, did counted cross stitch, did ceramics for years.  Nothing that I can say I excelled at.  My best asset is I'm a good listener.

Nothing special planned for today other than peas on my sore back.

QOTD-Do you, or anyone in your family have talent?

My only talent is being "good with people".  I am a pretty good listener and pretty empathetic to almost anyone who is doing the best they can.

But I would trade that all away to be some sort of performer.

My morning started with a frantic phone call and I forgot to eat anything.  Unfortunatly I had to take my friend's dog to the vet, and Butter, the puppy, passed away as I was bringing her back home to decide what would be done.  I still haven't eaten, but did get a Coke to bring my sugar back up.  Not really in the mood to eat my friend and her 2 kids are really upset.

I think my talent is being the calm one in senerio's like this.  Also I am a great cook and baker, and am very crafty.

Sorry if things are misspelled, the C on this computer doesn't work well.

Good evening everyone!

I've been eating like a pig today - funny how that happens.  The past 2 days I've been good and really haven't been hungry - today I can't get enough....

QOTD:  Played saxaphone in the high school jazz and orchestra bands, and took piano lessons forever.  My piano teacher too was our organist in church so I played there at times as well.
I did some crafts in the past, made oil candles that had flower arrangements inside the bottles - that was fun but took a lot of time and work.  Nothing besides that, can't sing, can't dance, can't draw even though I did take a painting class - painted a bird house/CD holder that turned out quite nice - but the teacher was holding my hand while I was doing it - LOL.
