Crushed pills, yummmm  Some people swear you'll need chapstick or lip gloss, I didn't need it, but that's just me.

I know my Dr requests not red or purple sf anything.  You don't want them to think you're bleeding when you're not.

Personally I am a big woosie sleeper.....that being said, eye shield/covers to block out the light and ear plugs, huge for me, also chapstick and a good book.  I definitely agree with all the mouth stuff, I used the hospital toothbrush, paste....and it was awful!  Also, something comfortable to wear home, t-shirt, stretchy shorts.... be very comfortable going home.

Good luck,

Edie

Best of luck to you & God Speed. I will also be arriving at my facility at 10:30 on Thursday with surgery scheduled for 12:30. Not sure how long you will be in the hospital. You may want to add lotion to your list.

That suggestion about wearing comfortable clothes home is the best-I dressed up and was miserable trying to zip pants over my inflated, orange-colored, sticky belly, since I came home the same day.
