Can anyone tell me where to buy  a SF childrens vitamin? Can they be the gummy type of do they need to be the chewable one?
I have checked my local Meijers for SF children's vitamins. I had two meijer employees and one Pharmacist help me look and not one of us could fine SF Flint-stone, Dora, Sponge-bob, etc.

Thanks

I use the centrum chewables for adults, not children.  They do have some sucrose in them, but my Dr. said they were ok to use.
Are you the Cheryl that knows Shelly's Bed & Biscuit?

thanks Jan and Kelli for the reply. I was told to use the children's SF. Guess I will have to make a call and double check.

Yes....It's me.... You talk about a surprise!
I was kind of nervous  about going to the support group not knowing anyone and driving by myself. I sent Pam an e-mail asking her if she knew of anyone in my area, maybe we could car pool together. Pam said she had sent out a few e-mails for me.
When we got home from the lake Sunday night I had a e-mail from Shelly and she told me her address and her phone number and to give her a call. Well it didn't register in my head that it was Winston's (Yorkie) Shelly until I got the answering machine...Then I just started to laugh..
Our family has known Shelly for at least 10 years now...our dog is 13 yrs old. Shelly has taken very good care of our dog while on vacation. Also our daughter Beth left her dog with Shelly a few times also. Her dog was the high pitched barking Schnauzer.
So Shelly and I will be driving down I-75 tonight, I'm sure having a good time talking each others ears off. Hope to meet you at the meeting.

Hi Cheryl...

I'm from Midland and was one of the people that Pam emailed to see if you wanted to carpool with!!  Welcome!  I love going to Pam's support group meetings.  I just couldn't make it tonight but I'm sure you will find it very helpful.  Pam is a wealth of knowledge and always eager to help with any questions people have.

I also agree on the vitamins....I take Centrum Chewables which is what my surgeon's office recommended.

See you at one of the BC Support group meetings!!

Skip the kiddie vitamins.  We're adults.  Morbidly obese adults with much bigger bodies than 3 year old toddlers.  We need adult vitamins.  And there are plenty of chewable adult vitamins to choose from.

Here's a comparison chart

I personally use Centrum Adult Chewable Multi-Vitamin.  Available practically everywhere and if you watch the paper you can find coupons for an even better deal.

Feel free to come with a list of questions tonight.... we'll do our best to answer things for you.

Thanks  for the information on the vitamins. I was going by what they told me to take. I just figured the reason they were having us take the kiddie vitamins, was there was something to strong in the adult vitamin.  Something our new pouch couldn't handle. See you tonight.

I have been using the GNC chewables and find them to be very palatable. Have also ordered some chewable calcium citrate from Bariatric Advantage. Hope those are decent, too!

Do you like the chewable calcium citrate? I got some by Celebrate (Berries & Cream)  They're ok, but I'm starting to have trouble with them, my palate is different post op.  I'd rather go back to the jumbo tablets.  I wonder if I can do that yet at 4 weeks out?
