Someone didn't give Nick the memo!  Here I am, posting before 7am again!

It's raining now here in Metro Detroit.  I hope it keeps up all day!

QOTD-What do you do when the weather isn't great?  I do my normal stuff, as most of what I do doesn't depend on the weather.  I still walk the dog in the rain.  She gets so mad, but too bad!

Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning Brenda and everyone!
Nick needs to pay better attention to the memo :-).
It's raining here, in Kalamazoo, finally. We need the rain SO bad, so I'm really glad. I'm trying to decide if it's worth going to Farmer's Market. Need to go to Sam's club.
QOTD-When the weather isn't great, I like to have a longer cup of coffee in the morning and get more things done inside. My dogs don't like walking in the rain, either. I don't think they like the feel of wet on their "delicate" paws.
Have a good Saturday!

Good Morning!

I've been at work since 11:30 last night and have to be here until 3:30 this afternoon . . . if I were home I would stay in my pj's all day.

QOTD- I love being home, so when the weather is not good I just putz around or do laundry make soup take a nap and just be lazy . . . . good thing that we have nice weather or I would turn into a big blob . . . AGAIN!

Stay out of the puddles!

I'm right there with you Kristy.  I love lazy hang around the house and putter around days.  That's one of the things I missed when I lived in AZ,they were extremely far in between.

The only really bad (kinda) thing about today is that I had plans with my sister to have peddi's do some shopping, lunch.....

Hope you had a good afternoon, when you finally got home, but I"m pretty sure your only going to see  your eyelids LOL!!

Edie,
I ended up taking a three hour nap which was enough to hold me over to bed time.  16 hours are such long days to work especially if 8 of those are on the midnight shift. . . . but then on the up side . .  I have a very good job and am blessed to be working.

Hope you enjoyed your time with your sister!

Good morning!  Just about every day this week, Dub's awake around 6:30 to eat a little and go back to sleep.  I can usually get another hour to an hour and a half nap out of him, so he'll be up again, soon.

QOTD:  What I do when the weather isn't great?   COMPLAIN ABOUT IT...especially when the yucky weather occurs during the summer months.  LOL!  Actually, a day like today is likely to be spent lounging about the house, so no change from days of normal weather.

Morning!  I'm hoping the not being able to sleep stops soon and that its just a part of the after surgery process.

It's like I gave birth and have to get up every couple hours to feed the baby.  Then sleep for an hour to hour and a half only to be wake up again for a half hour.

QOTD:  What do you do when the weather isn't great.

Normally I do inside cleaning, the crappy stuff that I always put off.  Today we are going to be going through my son's room (they are away for the weekend at my sisters) and throwing a bunch of stuff away.  Some one may have to save me if I don't make it out of there by noon.

DON'T OVER DO THE BENDING, PUSHING AND PULLING.  I KNOW THE RESULTS!  NOT FUN.  I OVER DID THINGS AND REGRETTED IT GREATLY.  JUST TAKE IT EASY, THAT STUFF WILL BE THERE FOR A WHILE AND YOU CAN DO IT LATER, WHEN YOU'RE FULLY RECOVERED.
Sound familiar people?

The memo missed my dogs too.  They were up at 6 wanting out.  Since we're sleeping in the family room on the aero bed, they're right there with us and there is no ignoring them.  I'm eating two scrambled eggs with a scoop of beneprotein.
QOTD:  I usually read, sometimes I sit on the covered porch and read if it's not too cool and damp.  I really should be packing, but I'm tired of all that. Maybe I'll groom on the dogs for a while.  who knows.
I'm bummed that it's raining because I took a bunch of stuff to my girlfriends house for a garage sale today.  Looks like the things will just get donated instead of sold.

Yes, we really did need the rain.  I'm not looking forward to 94 degrees tomorrow.

Morning Everyone!!

I was able to sleep last night. Daddy had overnight duty since I was heading into work this morning for a few hours... Today we are having a family day at home just kind of hanging out. I am working on laundry and catching up on little things that we needed to get done. DH just made a window perch for the fur babies and they are loving watching the rain from that view.

QOTD: I like to relax, watch tv, nap and especially read. I like to catch up on my reading during this weather... But usually instead of reading I get caught up in a project or scrapbooking.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.
