TGIF!
We've made it through another week, again. Looks like a steamy, stormy summer weekend. We really could use the rain, here....
What's brewing this morning? Going to start some black and decaf pretty soon. Then it's Friday ladies bike ride this morning..
QOTD-What's in store for your weekend? Nothing solid, here. Need to do some biking this weekend as it's less than 4 weeks till the big ride.
Have chores as always....
Have a good one..

Haha!  2 Friday posts!  We're all so excited for the weekend.

I need to get a new bike.  Every time I read about your biking escapades, it makes me want to get one again!!  I would like to have a bike to ride the trails in the woods around my house.

Refresh my memory...what's the BIG RIDE?

TGIF back at ya!

I love this two posts for the weekend.

I went for a nice bike ride last night.  I just have one of those "retro Schwinn's"  I look like the witch from the Wizard of Oz with my basket on the front . . . but it's so fun . . .

Stay cool!

It's funny, but last summer I got a "new" bike....a motorcycle.  I got my motorcycle endorsement in August and my bike died, so I never LEGALLY got to ride it (hubby took me out on back roads by our house and I practiced riding up and down the road before I took the class).  Shortly after getting my endorsement, we found out I was pregnant and therefore was not ALLOWED to ride the motorcycle.  So hubby never really messed with fixing my bike over the winter because he knew I wouldn't be riding it for a while.  I don't want to like ride it to Alaska or anything, but I would really like to just ride the dumb thing down the road, but my family (my inlaws own a motorcycle related company) is dead-set against it and I really don't want to risk anything, anyway....so I guess I should stick to BICYCLES!  Hmmm...maybe next summer I can get in that first, short ride.

You now have to wait until Dub is grown and gone.  I had a motorcycle and horses before kids, but after kids they went...  Now that the kids are grown and gone, I've got a Harley.  No horses tho.

That's what I've been told....no bikes while there are young kids.  So, I guess I'll start riding again when I turn 57!  He'll be 18 by then. LOL!
