It's Hump Day!!!
Time for that cup of wake-up in your mug!!! Decaf and black for me, in a little while.
Colin slept the whole hour while I was there yesterday. So, made it through my first grandma-sit experience. WHEWWW........
It is a glorious morning......
QOTD-What has been your biggest body surprise since WLS? Mine is that I actually have "boney prominences" I really don't have "cankles" (calves that go straight to the ankles) like I thought I did before my WLS. I can feel my tailbone and I really do have shoulder blades...... GEEEE.
Have a good one.

Good Morning everyone.

I'm at work...just finished a chocolate instant breakfast....yuck.  Deb, I'm sure you'll have lots more active time with Colin....just you wait!! :)

QOTD-I have two.  First, wrinkles on my face.  When I was fatter, my face was puffy, so they didn't show.  Once I started losing weight in my face, the wrinkles came out.  God's little joke on me...LOL  Also, I remember laying in bed and feeling this weird "mass" on my sides.  I call DH in and ask him what the heck is that???  He laughed and said it's your ribs and muscle.  Oh yeah...that's what that is!!

Hope you all have a great day!

Getting ready to eat a scrambled egg.  Walked the old dog today already.  It's pretty cool here.
QOTD:  No big surprises yet other than I have to remind myself to eat.  Who'd have ever thought I wouldn't be constantly thinking of food?

It is what it is.

Good Morning!
I just finished a bowl of oatmeal, ate out on the porch in my pj's . . . I love having the day off.
Today I see the plastic surgeon about my tt . . I'm kinda nervous but excited . . hoping it won't take to long to get a date.
Deb I hope you spent that hour with Colin holding him . . I'm a firm believer that babies should be held as much as possible!

QOTD- The wrinkles on my neck . . I know all those chins I use to have were hiding something. . . and hey who would thought your boobs could actually hang so low . . . lol
I do like being able to feel my hip bones . .

Enjoy the day!

I've had my 1/2&1/2 coffee!  I'm now having a chocolate-raspberry protein shake.
QOTD- I'm not even 1/2 way there yet.  But so far; I can feel there are bones under all my "softness".  I have that vertical wrinkling under my chin were it was stretched.  Yesterday while I was in the pool with all three DD's and grands, I could paddle my floatie with my "Bat Wings"  Boy did the kids find that funny!

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Good morning.  Starbucks Breakfast Blend in my mug this AM...I'm going "fully loaded" for my morning.  Just finished some yogurt and toast.  We are kinda getting into a routine these days as Dub generally goes down for a morning nap around 10, but only for 30 minutes.  So, I have some time to do whatever.  While I should be doing some laundry or something, here I am, on OH! LOL

QOTD:  Biggest body surprise....hmmmm, I think my biggest surprise was the emergence of hip bones.  LOL!  They were always well hidden.  Oh, and the comment of having a boney butt when I sat on hubby's lap.  I was never accused of that!

Enjoy the day!  Tina

Morning

We are up and at em here. Baby is snoozing for a few since she kept me up all night last night.. And we so thought we were getting in a routine.. Leave it to Baby to change that for me.

We are heading out to see some other Foster Moms at park day.. and then Mommy gets to go to Babies R Us to get a new diaper bag... Yeah the little joys in my life right? I am loving every minute of this blessing in my life.

QOTD: I think the boney butt thing is the biggest for me. And also the skinny neck thing.. I never knew my neck looked that good. ROFL

Have a great day everyone

Just when you think things are settling down into a good routine....the baby changes their mind.  LOL!  That's what I've found!  Around two weeks old, I thought, "Wow, we have a routine!"  Yeah, it all changed the next day.  But fortunately, after a few days, we were in a new routine.  It changes, though.  Flexibility is my friend!

Yeah we are learning that things revolve all around her. The bad thing was I had appts this week and I have had to keep them which has made it hard to get her going in a routine so next week we are only leaving the house when we need too... I want to get her settled and in a routine.

Dub is looking so darn cute! I love the Mickey outfit.
