Good morning!
We had a great weekend...nothing special. LOL! On Thursday, we decided to take a day trip to Lake Michigan. So, we headed to my inlaws' house Thursday evening and headed to Warren Dunes State Park Friday morning. I love Lake Michigan. I got so excited as soon as we saw the water. I'm like a little kid! We only spent the day at the beach and then headed back to the inlaws' (about 2 hours away), spent the night again and came home Saturday afternoon. Sunday was a lazy day. Today, hubby is working on getting his "return to work" papers filled out and meeting with Ford's doctor for final clearance.
QOTD: Dub makes me laugh. He's really getting vocal and "talks" to us. Plus his facial expressions crack me up. He smiles all the time, coos, gurgles and laughs now.
Enjoy the day! Tina

After reading Jan's post I have to share another NIck story:
He was born premature and was just 4 lbs. when I brought him home from the hospital. He was so tiny and frail and sick. He didn't even cry because he didn't have enough strength. One day, when he was about 3 months old, my mom and I were sitting on her couch and she was holding Nick and singing to him and kind of tickling him. Then she screams and practically throws him in my arms. We thought he was having a seizure because he was shaking. So we're both screaming and panicking and finally we realize that he was laughing, but no sound was coming out! It scared me to death but I was so happy to see him doing something normal. I'll never forget it!!

I loved your kid stories . . . my grand-daughter told my son this morning that she had a sore throat and didn't need to go to daycare today . . we figured out it was because my daughter was coming over and Hanna didn't want to miss anything . . . so she went and got a flashlight and told her dad to look down her throat she said "I think I swallowed my brain" . . . lol

He's doing GREAT, Kim! Thanks for asking. My hubby and I were just talking tonight about how easy my pregnancy was...that I was a "great baby making machine"...LOL!
He is sleeping really well. Most nights, he sleeps through the night. We co-sleep, so even if he does wake up, he's right there in bed with me to nurse and goes right back to sleep, but he sleeps most evenings from about 10PM to 5AMish. Then he wakes up for about an hour or so and he's back to sleep for a couple hours. I keep saying that I'm going to put him in his crib at night, but I haven't quite gotten there, yet. My goal is to have him in his pack and play, at least, to sleep for the night by the time he's 3 months. So, I have about 3 more weeks to break my habit!
We aren't using formula...well, not enough to worry about. He only gets formula, in a pinch. I have a ton of coupons, too. PLUS my MIL, for some reason, keeps buying me formula, because she finds it on sale. I have one can of formula powder that I opened his first week and I still have over 1/2 of the can left. Seriously, I have 10 cans of formula that I probably won't ever use. LOL...she just can't turn down a good deal.
Anyway, I could yammer on all night about Western...LOL! How's your little one?
