Who to see?

Alrighty, this is an update in case there was anyone out there wondering what came of all of this.

The  PA called me back and said they will not do a scope or any kind of test because even if my pouch and/or stoma has stretched, there isn't anything they would do about it.  He said he wants to me follow up with the NUT as my only course of action.  I explained to him that I know I cannot lose a large amount of weight on my own....that's why I had surgery.  I eat around 1200 calories a day, am constantly hungry, and consistantly gain weight.   There is no way in hell I am going to be able to lose the approx. 80 lbs. I need to lose to be at a healthy weight.  Even if there is some "tweaking" of my diet that the NUT can help me with, there is no way that eating 1200 calories of most protein rich, good for me foods is going to make me gain as much as I have.

He also said he really advises against revision because of the risks.

As for the reflux, I am still waiting to see what the surgeon has to say about that.  I guess they think it's just GERD and more Prilosec will do the trick.

The plan for now is to start saving and have some sort of self-pay revision done next year.  Not 100% committed to this yet, but I'm looking in to it.
