Good Morning everyone!
Waking up with my decaf and black. Seems morning came way too early this morning. But, need to get to the gym this morning as it looks like a rainy day for the state..
Went to Target and was browsing thru the toys, which I haven't done in a long time. Boy, toys are so different in some ways, like toy cell phones and computers. Thank goodness the old classics are still around.
QOTD-What was your favorite toy as a child? I had a Chatty Cathy doll that had the pull ring and would say different things. She had blonde pigtails with a pink striped dress and apron. I also had a Betsy McCall doll, too...
Have a good one!

Morning

Nothing for me as of yet.. I have a CT scan at 10 and I cannot eat until afterwards... Then I am heading out shopping with my Mom for awhile.

QOTD: I loved this teddy bear that I carried everywhere. Also I loved the fisher price barn that mooed... they make one now but it is nothing like they used to make it... Good question.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! It feels muggy here today already but the sun is shining, for now.

QOTD-when I was really little, my favorite toy was a Mrs Beasley doll(I think the show she originated from was Family Affair??, with Buffy, Jody, & Mr French, right??). As I got older, I was a Barbie freak!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Hi Lisa,
Mrs. Beasley was from Family Affair with Cissy, Buffy, Jody, and Mr. French. One of my favorite shows growing up.

Just stopped by to see what was here.  Hello from the middle of the mitten!

QOTD:  Breyer horses.  Which in the end are much cheaper than the real ones that eat out back.

My cousins are still into Breyer horses.  Teri Lynn Steele and Kathy Tomlinson.  They show them.

Good morning everyone!

I drank a cup of skim milk earlier and 10 oz of water and now eating my Carbmaster Yogurt.  I'm in a stall lately that is soooooo frustrating. I basically haven't lost anything since July 9th.  I'll go up and down  1/2 - 1 lb but nothing...notta thing lost.   I'm frustrated at myself for weighing myself because I've been in a bad mood the past few days and I know it's because I'm letting the scale dictate my mood.  Longest stall since I had my surgery....

QOTD:  I loved my Velvet doll where you push o button on her stomach and her hair would grow.  She had a purple velvet dress and long (or short :-) blond hair.  I also had lots of Barbies.

Hello all!

I've got my usual fake latte this morning.  I didn't sleep well last night and all I wanted to do when the alarm went off this morning was snuggle back under the covers and go back to sleep.  Ugh!

QOTD -- Toy?  Mmm... I'd say my Candy doll.  She was just a head with long hair that you could comb and style and stuff.  My sister had one too, but she cut Candy's hair all off.  But my favorite thing to play when I was a kid was not with toys.  We'd play Kick the Can or Capture the Flag with the other neighborhood kids - we could be out there for hours with nothing more than an old soda can filled with rocks.
