I've got a question.....I'm taking a liquid antibiotic and the container says to take the medication with plenty of water.  I'm going to assume that's for "normal" stomachs.  I want to make sure I don't hurt my stomach, but I also don't want to flush all the medication out of the area's I can absorb stuff.

Anybody got an answer.....what I did was take 2 drinks enough to flush some out, but not all the way out.

Does this make sense???

Thanks,

Edie

Maybe drink plenty of water then take the medicine but I would definitely call your doc to be certain.

I'd agree with Danielle, call your bariatric office.
Here's a funny.  I'm sitting here right now with my cell phone in my pants pocket.  All of a sudden I feel a vibration so I take the cell phone out to answer it, only to find out that it's the gas rumbling around in my gut!  I had to laugh at myself.

To funny Jan....sometimes my stomach/intestines get so loud people standing near me can hear it.  They think I'm starving, but it's actually food rolling on through!
