Must be Dow Chemical cuz Shelly worked for Dow Corning and they wouldn't cover anything weight loss related for her (but then, she's a retiree)

Yep, Dow Chemcical.....

Yeah, Corning has an exclusion to WLS b/c I have a friend who works there and found out it was not covered.  I remembered Shelly saying that in the meeting when I met you guys.  They don't even cover it for their active employees.

Ok, seeing your grandson's pic made me miss Dub!!!  I am at the Cardiovascular Center with AJ this morning and Dub is at home with Grandma.  This will be the longest I've been away from him, so far!  It's only been an hour, but man, I miss him!  AJ is the process of getting a TEE (it's an ultrasound of his heart using a probe down his esophagus).  This gives them a VERY good picture of his heart. He has basically stumped the docs around here as he had no prior health issues to indicate a stroke.

QOTD:  We went to Hillsdale on Friday.  It was one of my nephews' birthday.  He turned 3.  We had a cookout at my brother's house.  It was great to be with family.  We came home Sunday.

I agree with you Deb on having family close by.  I wish my mom lived in MI still.  It's hard for her to be away from her 4 grandsons.  I'm very glad that my inlaws only live an hour away.  They will drop anything for us (and often have!).

I'm so happy with the warm sunshiney weather we are going to be getting this week!!! Tina

PS - I'm sitting here in the lobby and just realized I have DOG POOP on the bottom of my tennis shoe!!! EWWWWWWWWWW!  Gotta run to the bathroom and clean it off....darn dogs!

Good morning all!

Finished my protein hot chai tea and my fake latte already.  Planning oatmeal and blueberries for breakfast in a bit.

QOTD -- My biggest part of the weekend was being a part of the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk.  I was just one of 30,000 photographers in 900 cities all over the world who went out shooting photos on Saturday.  I took about 240 pics and narrowed my favorites down to 26.  Still need to pick my favorite two to submit to the contest and can't decide.  Votes are welcome!  Here's the shots.

I also spent a bunch of time yesterday browsing through so many Flickr groups set up all over the world of photos people took.  Jakarta, Philadelphia, Thailand, China, Washington DC... It is amazing to be a part of something so huge!  And I think I've become addicted to photowalking -- got another local one planned for next weekend.

Good afternoon!

I had my usual decaf and protein this morning - now I'm drinking a McDonalds iced coffee - wish they would make it with decaf for me.  I'm becoming addicted to these...  I need to make the chai tea too - I've heard so many wonderful things about it.

QOTD?  I got back from DC on Saturday.  Flew in/out of Flint since it was SO much cheaper than flying out of Traverse.  I meandered my way back up - stopping at the West Branch outlet mall - and bought a few things I didn't need.

Sunday turned out to be a very nice day here and went for a motorcycle ride.  My bike wouldn't start so I rode on the back of a friends'.  Its amazing how well I fit on the back of a bike now!!  Was just a very nice relaxing day.  I did get the bike started later though and went out for a ride then too!
