I did it!  I went to Kroger, got the bread (it was on sale!) toasted it, put some sf jelly on it and ate it.  It was pretty good!
It was really hard for me to eat anything that was described as "sprouted", but I did it.  Now my only problem is what kind of protein to have with breakfast after I eat some yummy toast.

Thanks for the suggestion guys!

I knew you could do it....I'm so proud of you.  Trust me, I'm not great at trying new things either, but I'm definitely better than you LOL!

Try putting peanut butter on it for your protein.

Some yummy yellow cheese would be good with the crunchy toast!

Oh yummmmy....cinnamon raisen sounds sooooo good!!  I've never tried that bread before but I think I'm going to have to go get some.  Does anyone know if Kroger carries it.  I typically don't shop at Meijer, but I could make a trip for cinnamon raisen bread :-)

Thank you Edie!!  I'm heading to Kroger after work :-)  That sounds really good.

C'mon Brenda...let's try it together...just keep in in the freezer so it doesn't start 'growing' on your cupboard :-)

I did!  I left work and headed straight to Kroger!   I bought 2 loaves, the regular and the cinnamon raisen.  I toasted a piece as soon as I walked in the door!  Can you tell I've been craving bread lately??  LOL   I loved it!!  I put just a little bit of butter on it and could only eat about 3/4 of it, but it was very good!

Peanut butter would be good on it for protien, or a toasted grilled cheese...yumm...I think I know what I am going to have for lunch :-)

Thanks for suggesting it.

I'm so much like you Brenda, I don't try new things much and it seems like I eat the same things day in and day out.....I need a little more variety in my life :-)

Finally I can get back to my protein chai tea.
My weekend was fabulous.
QOTD:  The best part was coming home from the hospital with a new life in front of me.  My kids sent me a huge bouquet of carnations, gerbera and regular daisys and some others.  My DIL's parents sent me a red rose, and some other friends brought me four long stemmed roses (2 red, 2 pink) with baby's breath.  Luckily I had a couple of vases still at this house.  The big bouquet is jammed into one vase, I don't have one big enough here.  They're so beautiful.
It's the beginning of a marvelous week!
