Did I lose the Sunday thread or didn't any body start one.
I had to go to Hurley for a slight unfill yesterday after only getting a .5cc fill Wednesday. I take back anything I might have thought bad about them. The PA wasn't sure when she did the fill if it was to much, they can only go on what we say. She told me if I had any trouble give her a call. I called the hospital on Sat and asked for the bariatric person. They put me right thru to Denise, she had me go right in to admitting. When I got there they new I was coming and had me on my way up in 3 min. I met Denise in the burn unit hall and she had me relieved and out in 15 minutes. She took her time talking to me too.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
Glad to hear things went well for you, hopefully the unfill (is that what you call it?) helps you feel better.

Hi Edie! With the band you get saline put in the band at intervals. They keep adding until you can get full on a certain amount of food and stay full for hours or more. They have a flow chart that they follow on how much if any to add. I was getting close to what they call the green zone. She only added .5cc of saline into the band. It was to much and when that happens you stomach swells and can close up. This is what happened to me. I couldn't even get fluid down.
Now only a .25cc "UN FILL" later I feel GREAT!
