Good Saturday morning everyone!
Having your morning java or something else? Having the decaf and black before going to Farmer's Market this morning. Love to walk around and see what's fresh in produce. Love to buy crimini mushrooms and make a quiche with fresh spinach...
Anyone rush out and buy their Chiaobama yet? That is hilarious, Tina.
QOTD-What is the strangest gift or thing you've ever got? I got a "Pet Rock" back when they were the craze back in the 70's for Christmas from my brother. Needless to say, it got returned....
Just think, as you are shivering, it could be 114 degrees like it is in Phoenix.....

I am off to an eye appointment and then some running around. I wish we had a good farmer's market around here. I guess Meijer will just have to do!
QOTD-My DH (when we were dating) bought me a copy of the DiVinci Code. I don't read books like that usually, and I never, ever buy hardcover books because I don't read them twice so it's kind of a waste of money. I opened it and just stared at him. He offered no explanation as to why he gave it to me. I never did read it. I think it was in our last garage sale LOL
My mom buys me strange stuff too. Because I like pink, she buys me any pink piece of junk she can find. The last gifts were pink sunglasses with rhinestones all over them and a pink flamingo with a real feather boa that is a Christmas ornament.

Try being a breast cancer survivor....I try to be exuberantly thankful for everything everyone gives me, but holy cow, it's been 5 years and just last week I got yet another bracelet from one of my boss's. Nice yes, but again....holy moly.

I am drinking water, plain water. I went for a short bike ride thru some trails by my house. Wow, am I out of shape! I guess I needed to start somewhere, right?
Brenda- I will gladly take those sunglasses off your hands, I am a huge pink fan too! and the gaudier the better.
QOTD: well, I have always gotten thoughtful gifts but my daughter this year gave her cousin a ring pop, you know those pacifier looking suckers, but the candy part was gone. just the plastic piece was left. Now i know that will be on HER list of weird stuff.
