Fabulous Friday Wake-up
Tina, I'm happy to hear AJ is progressing so well. This will help, it's all about baby steps, your life will be normal again before you know it. But what's your new norm?, Dub wasn't here before the strokes so you have to figure out what that is for you now, how strange that must be.
Q: My hubby will be gone all day tomm. and I plan on enjoying my house by myself! He works out of the house so it seems like he's always there LOL! Sunday we're going to Toby Keith and Trace Adkins at Pine Knob, we're really looking forward to that.
Have a great weekend all,
Edie

Boy has it been a long week. My daughter and I were in a car accident on Wednesday afternoon, we are both fine . . lots of scrapes and bruises and bumps on the head. My daughter, Jessica is really going great . . the young they bounce back so well. I'm having a little harder time, I see a surgeon on Monday to determine if my elbow is broken - so typing this with one hand.
Deb - Congrat's on your grandson - what a nice name!
QOTD- Just going to be laying low for the weekend, I'm staying at my parents for a few more days before I head home.

QOTD-I was suppose to take the 3yr old g-son with us to a pygmy goat show in Ohio but, the contractors couldn't get the drywall done (humidity) and want to work on it tomorrow. So, we are stuck here at home. Working on our part of cleaning up!
Have a good day, what's left of it!

Congrats on getting your surgery!
This is the most difficult time, but this IS the best thing I've ever done for myself. Food will come....you'll get there. Meat and salad.....well that may take a bit more time, but they are part of my daily life now and have been for more 8 mos', but like you, I followed the dr's rules to the letter. Watching my hubby (who had surgery in March) now and the fact that he isn't (following the rules)....I'd say follow the rules I did better than he is now...he'll regret it one day, buy he won't listen to me....his loss, I've tried and tried but to no avail (sorry to dump on you :))
Anyways.....stick to the rules, they are there for a reason, they will do you well in the long run, you only have this "honeymoon" period once, take full advantage of it. BTW I've lost over 115 lbs, I'm not as small as I wanted to be, but I am HEALTHY, for the first time in many, many years and I'm more happy than I have been in years!!!
Good luck,
Edie
