TGIF Everyone!
We've made it through another week. What's waking you up this morning? Weight control oatmeal, then decaf and black..
Big news for me-I'm a grandma!!! My grandson had his birthday yesterday at 12:25pm and 7pd 10 ounces, 21 1/2 inches. Colin James is his name. He is SO beautiful....
QOTD-What's your weekend? Supposed to be cool, weather-wise. Farmer's market on Saturday. Will be helping the daughter as she should come home tomorrow sometime. Hope to get in a bike ride or two.....
Take care!

WooHoo Deb!  Congratulations on the little munchkin.  Can wait for pictures..

I'm off work today.  Why won't my body let me sleep late anymore?  Or maybe it was the garbage truck outside my window at 7am that woke me up.  Anyway... I am having a bowl of steel cut oats with blueberries this morning.... YUM!    Will do a protein coffee later.

QOTD -- Today I'll deal with laundry, housework, school work and errands.  Tomorrow is the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk -- SOOO excited!  If you're a photo buff, there's still time to sign up.  I'll probably spend a good chunk of tomorrow afternoon messing around with the photos I take and getting them ready to submit to the contest.  Also need to get to Goodwill this weekend and get rid of the 8 boxes of clothes and stuff that's been packed up for a week.

Have a good one all!
Pam

YAY! Congrats, Deb, to you and your daughter!  Hope to see pics, soon!

Hubby is making oatmeal for breakfast and I'm drinking my 1/2 coffee-1/2 water this morning.  TRYING to keep my caffeine intake to a minimum - one cup of coffee, diluted, is about it!

QOTD: Going to Hillsdale this weekend.  It's my nephew's 3rd birthday, so we have a b'day party to attend.  Not sure if we're going today and spending the night or going tomorrow and spending the night or just going for the day, tomorrow.  We're not on much of a schedule these days, so we'll just play it by ear!

AJ has been cleared to return to work.  He's still on 100% pay until 8/6, so he'll probably wait until then.  They want him to start back slowly, part time for a couple weeks, but other than that, no restrictions.  Now it's up to Ford's doc to OK it!

Enjoy the day and try to stay warm this weekend....grrrrr!  Tina

Congratulations, Deb, on becoming a grandma.  Let the fun begin!

Tina, that is great news about AJ being cleared for work-that will help him tremendously to get back into the groove.

And Pam, I know what you mean about being too old to sleep in anymore. If I can make it until 7:30 I consider it a late start!

QOTD-What's your weekend?  Either the Ann Arbor Art Fair or Farmington Art Fair (right name?) with my new guy.  And i have to have some girl time on Sunday as I have been blowing off my girlfriends to spend time with Bob, and I hate being one of those women who drops her friends for the new guy, who might end up being only a temporary distraction.  Friends are forever.

And really...TGIF!! I live for Friday's at 4:30pm...out of work and play time.

Hey Deb, had a good time with you at spin class. Will go for a walk later if I can, just to de-stress myself. It's been too busy here at work this week with the golf outing coming up on Monday.

Plans for this weekend: Grandson Remi had his 3rd birthday on Thursday. We are having a pizza party at the park. Will try to not pig out on pizza, eat more fruit and play with the grandkids in the park instead of eating the birthday cake...all though I plan on one tiny little piece. I did buy a watermelon and honey dew so I will eat that.

Singing a solo at church on Sunday. Solo's aren't my thing...I'd rather sing with other people.

Oh yeah...Heading the Bariatric Support Group on Saturday at Borgess gym at 0900. All are invited. Group Leader Ben has double booked himself and I'm pitch hitting!

Everyone, have a great weekend. Deb, I just know you'll have a fun time holding Colin James...I love babies!!!!

Congratulations Deb !  That's exciting news.

I just had my Carbmaster Yogurt and an now going to start drinking my SF Koolaid.

This weekend we are going to re-roof the screened in porch on Steve's house so I'm glad it's not boing to be too hot (sorry Tina!!!)  I do like warm weather too, but if I'm going to be up on a roof, I don't want to be frying :-)

My daughter has a sorority retreat this weekend so she called me and said 'can you make some food' so I made cheesy potatoes, macaroni salad, brownies, rice krispy treats and company french toast.  I'll deliver all that to her tonight on my way to Chelsea (she lives in Ypsi).   Dang....I should have just emailed her the recipes :-)   I like to cook though :-)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Nan,
Dont you love the carbmaster cherry flavor?  What I dont understand is the difference between the Lite, carbmaster and the Splenda yogurts....  Do the lite versions have nutrisweet?  I tried reading the label but didnt see it specified like splenda is on the other containers....

Oh my gosh, yes Cherry is my favorite.   I love that one.  And everyone else must to b/c usually that is the one they are out of most often.  When I do see they have it, I grab a bunch!  I had the samequestion, was wondering what the difference it in the Lite.  They have some different flavors in the Kroger Lite like Key LIme that I like, but the nutrition is not as good as the Carbmaster, so I just stick with that.
