Wild Wednesday Coffee

Hello Everyone!
It's "hump-day"-the middle of the week and time for your morning wake-up mug. Decaf and black coming my way after weight-control oatmeal. What's coming in your cup?
Saugatuck was marvelous yesterday. Cool and not so crowded. Went to the beach and walked the shore. Don't get enough beach time in the summer.
QOTD-Summer brings a slew of movies in the theater and DVDs. Any movie rants or raves from you? I am ranting about "My Sister's Keeper" I read the book, which was great. The movie was SO dissapointing. The ending of the book was the best and they totally switched the ending in the movie. I love Abigail Breslin and Carmen Diaz. But the movie was such a dissapointment.
Raves-Star Trek-very fun movie!!! Loved it...

Morning Everyone

Just waiting right now to leave for a Drs appt early today. It is my day off and I get to run errands and clean before we leave for up north on Friday. We are attending a golf outing party this weekend with my Mom up in Gladwin. Should be a fun time.

I am however one of those weird people that was hoping it would rain today so that we can test our new drain system in the yard. Plus I know my garden needs it.

QOTD: I have only gotten to see two movies this summer. UP and Public Enemies. I have to admit there are more I want to go see but I have been slacking. I am planning a girls night out with my BFF to go see My Sisters Keeper... We just read the book together.
I really enjoyed UP and the message behind it about living life to the fullest and that the most important things to us are those that are held in our heart.

I rented "Seven Pounds" and thought it was really hokey.  Haven't been to the theater much but loved "Taking of Pelham 123"

Today is my all liquid diet so I'm doing chicken broth for b-fast.
QOTD:  We don't usually go to the movies and only rent DVDs when we're up north.  The last one I really enjoyed was Taken.  It was good for both of us.  I wanted to rent Mama Mia, but hubby didn't really want it.  I've wanted to read My Sister's Keeper, but haven't gotten around to it.  I'm on the last two books of JD Robb, then I'll move on to another author.  I hate seeing a movie after I've read the book, because not all the characters are what I imagined them to be, plus sometimes they change the endings!  BOGUS.

How are you liking the JD Robb series?  Nora is one of my all time favorite authors and that In Death series is the best!  I own the entire collection and usually go through and read it start to finish every couple years -- I'm due for another read-through.

I really enjoy JD Robb and Eve Dallas and Rourke especially.  I'm working on Suite 606 right now and then I'll finish with Promises in Death, her latest.  I've got to read that last three that Janet Evanovich wrote too.  Her's are fun if you haven't read them I'd suggest them.  My DIL is a big Nora Roberts fan and when she starts a new series she passes them on to me.
I'll be on the bench tomorrow.  YaHoo

I looked at the store for Starbucks coffee or anything good yesterday.  NOTHING!   I live in a rural area.  Next time I go to Walmart I will look.  Today I have water and crystal light again.

I won't be on the boards until Saturday!  I am leaving soon to go to WI to see Taylor Swift in concert.  I am going with my friend, her kids and my kids.  Hope everyone has a good rest of the week!

QOTD-I don't go to the movies very often.  I seen 2 this year and that was a lot for me.  I took the kids to Hannah Montana and Night at the Museum.

    If there is one coffee I DON'T like it's Starbucks.  Tastes burnt to me.  For decaf I use Folgers or Maxwell House.  My favorite is Dunkin Donuts Coffee tho.  Don't know if you'll be able to find that in the U*****t.  Have fun in WI. and thanks for the good wishes.

Ditto to Jani's coffee suggestions! All 3 are much more mild, smoother than something like Starbucks.
