On my way....BUT $599 out of pocket whew!

Just got back from the seminar at Beaumont Royal Oak!...Im gonna actually start "trying" to get approved. Im am very shocked at the $599 out of pocket though...that was unexpected......SO I guess I will be a month behind in a car not in August,,,,,,Oh well.....lol

With my HAP, if you don't have a certain rider, there is $1,000 out of pocket co-pay.  Luckily I have the rider with my policy.  I didn't realize tho that there is a $250 in patient co-pay which they want up front.  They called me Monday to see how I wanted to pay that because it has to be paid before surgery.  They took my MasterCard luckily.

I'm one of those "lucky" people that got to pay the 1000.  handed over ten 100. bills.. thought the girl at the desk was going to choke.. she said, "Noone has ever paid in cash before."   scary...

Worth every penny of it I'll bet eh?  Are you doing well and back to 'regular' foods yet?

I've got about $2,800 in bills here so you are fortunate.  lol  I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for the whole thing like some people because there is no way I could have done it.
Oh yeah, that doesn't include the $500-something I had to pay up front too.  Sheesh

Sheesh....Guess I should just be greatful I have insurance and have been assured that as long as I attend all appointments I will be appoved to surgery....so I will follow all rules and attend each and every appointment,

I'll have over $2000 out of pocket with program fees and deductables and co-pays... but I believe Grand Health Partners will be worth it.
