Good Tuesday morning everyone!
Here we are, almost mid-week.  Are you waking up this morning with coffee or other? My usual, as always, black and decaf. Another baby in the family born this weekend, not my grandson-to-be. My nephew and his wife had a baby boy, Tyler Matthew. Welcome to this world!
May head to Saugatuck later this morning. DH is on vacation and we're doing a "staycation" Love Saugatuck, the shops and beach. A2 Art Fair on Thursday.
QOTD-Do you have anything that you used to love before WL surgery and now don't? I used to love donuts and a couple of weeks ago my son bought some, which I had. I couldn't fini**** as it just tasted not so good anymore. Not such a bad thing, I guess..
Have a good Tuesday!

I am waking up with water and a walmart cherry limeade packet.  It's a keeper.  This is the first time I tried it.  I bought some decaf coffee but have yet to make it.  What kinds of coffee do you suggest I try?  I was never a coffee drinker.

I am debating on whether or not to travel to Marquette today to see the doctor.  I go every month because of my problems I have been having medically and with discipline on taking my suppliments etc.  I don't think I should go because the only thing that has changed in a month is I started drinking less diet soda and more water.

QOTD:  I liked dining out somewhat although I hated being seen eating.  Now I am afraid to eat out in case I get sick.  It still happens, just not as often.

Hi Jimi,
I like Starbucks decaf. It is so freshly roasted and has such a good flavor. I usually get Sumatra, which is bolder. If you are just starting to drink coffee, Pikes Roast is good, milder but good flavor.....

Morning

I am up and getting ready like usual for work.. Not ready for the craziness it will be today but just thankful I have a job to go too.

QOTD: I would have to say milk products. I want a bowl of cereal with 2% really bad! I also miss having some kinds of ice cream. I have to be careful with what kinds I eat if I eat any because it upsets my stomach pretty bad.

Have a great day everyone

Good morning Michigan!! It's another beautiful, sunshiney day!! Drinking my decaf w/cream.

QOTD: Sweets. I still like them but can only take a couple of bites & I'm done, completely satisfied & sick of it, whatever it might be(donuts & cakes were a huge weakness for me pre-op). That's a blessing, eh?! Also, dark, cola type pop(diet, of course). They just don't taste good anymore & seem to just "sit" funny/heavy-like, in my tummy. I do drink diet sunkist orange tho.

Deb-Saugatuck is so neat, isn't it? If you haven't been to downtown Holland in a couple of years, you should head down there too, since you'll be so close. They've really made a lot of improvements down there & it's becoming a very quaint little downtown! On Wednesdays & Saturdays(mornings) they have a farmers market down there too-near the Civic Center.

Have a great day everyone!!

Morning Deb and everyone.

I'm at work, wishing I wasn't.  This morning when the bus came for Nick both the driver and aide were people I have never seen before.  It's hard to put your baby on a bus with two men you don't know.  Maybe I did jump in the car and follow the bus to school...so what?  You guys won't tell anyone, right?  Haha.

QOTD-I am the same as you with the donuts, Deb.  I loved it when hubby would go out on Saturday nights and bring them home so I could have 1 or 2, or 7, on Sunday morning.  Also, McDonald's breakfast.  Both of those things taste gross to me now, and really hurt my pouch.
As for the cereal Suzanne, I can relate to that one too.  I can eat a whole gallon of ice cream or an entire cake, but one bowl of Lucky Charms makes me dump and want to just die.

Ok, enough food talk.  Back to work.  Hope you all have a great day!!
PS-only one more stray cat to catch!!!

How is Dave doing with that catching thing? LOL Is he tired of it yet? How many has he caught all together?

I think he secretly loves it.  He caught the mom and like 6 kittens.  There is only one more hanging around.  She was the runt of the litter and is freaking out without her brother and sisters around to feed her.  The neighbors are all mad at Dave for taking them in.  They say they aren't hurting anyone by roaming around and looking cute.  But they are ferel and very mean, plus they are pooping everywhere!!!

I'll get a pic when he gets the last one and post it on FB!

I love your optimism, Deb-almost the middle of the week on Tuesday morning.

Everything is so different now, but pastries would top the list I guess-just can't handle them with the band, so the pain of being stuck has taken away any delight that might come from attempting to eat them.  But the smell is still wonderful!
