How exciting on the soon to be grandbaby!

Good afternoon.  Just thought I'd check in.  Had a Dr. appt this morning and then we went out for lunch at Red Robin.  Right now I'm actually eating my leftover sandwich.  Doing laundry and all that fun stuff this afternoon, too.

QOTD:  I don't follow the straw rule, but my doc never said we could NEVER use them again (but it sounds like Hurley may have changed their post-op protocol).  I thought the hardest rule to follow would be the no drinking during meals rule.  I have eosinophilic esophagitis (EE) which causes my esophagus to be "ringed" instead of smooth.  So sometimes food can get 'lodged' in my throat, although it hasn't since I had WLS.  Anyway, drinking would help me swallow. I would literally take a drink with every bite, so I thought that one would be impossible.  I don't even think of about it, now.

Good Afternoon!
I'm back to work after my wonderful 10 days off . . . well all good things must come to an end?
Trying to drink jus****er for the next few days as I have been drinking far to much tea and kool-aid the last few days.
QOTD- My vitamins, when I get out of my routine I'm so bad I can't believe it.  The straw thing has never been a big deal for me  . . . I often wonder how my pouch looks as I had a stricture and had it stretched five times and I sipped water for the first 3 months with food to get it down . . . sorry I got off track don't know where I was going with that . . .  lol

Enjoy your evening!

Wow, you must have gotten sick of all those strictures.  Big bummer!

Thanks . . I never thought I was going to be "normal" again.  I'm glad I made the choice for surgery but back then it was a real pain!
I'm glad all worked out with you to Edie!
