I've heard of many people who use WW -- either through their whole WLS journey or at the end with the last few pounds. You might need to modify their diet plan to accomodate our need for high protein, moderate carbs... but the weekly support and education definitely could help keep you on track with whatever plan you decide to follow.
I follow a blog of a guy who lost a ton of weight on WW (around 140lbs, I think) and is now a long distance runner. It's very interesting to keep track of his progress. He's currently struggling to get back on track with his eating ... but this guy does amazing things in the exercise department. Like running 50 miles in a day... http://run4change.wordpress.com/
Good luck!
