Hi everyone,

I feel like I've been out of the loop for a few days.  It's quarter close here at work and I have been working long hours.  I read the post everyday and think I'm going to get to posting a reply and then the day slips away from me.

Rant:  Not taking my vitamins everyday.  I try and try and everyday I say to myself I am just going to do it, but seriously, I don't think there's a day that goes by that I don't miss a dose of something.  I'm great at taking the multivitamin and the B12, I just hate taking the calcium citrate....i wish I didin't have to take so many vitamins...but I knew it going into this journey, so I'm not complaining....well, a little I am.

Rave:  I'm happy to have noved down another size last week!  I love my RNY.  I feel so fortunate to have had this surgery.  It seems like it was just yesterday that I was 'contemplating' having the surgery and now here I am more than half way to gole.  I am so grateful for this chance at getting my health back.

Have a great day everyone!

Nan

Nan,
I'm there with you on the vitamins.  I have been taking pre-natal vitamins long efore I had surgery 4 years ago.  When my hubby had his strokes, and we spent the month in the hospital, I got totally screwed up on my vitamin/meds taking schedule.  I barely remembered to eat each day!  It has been very hard to get back in to a regular schedule and it seems that taking my vitamins is what suffers.  I have been getting better at establishing a new routine around here.

As usual, it's past morning, but I'm here!  My hubby is off getting his C-PAP right now.  While he was in the hospital, he was part of a sleep-study research.  They determined that he stopped breathing about 100 times in 2 hours, both nights.  So, they pushed him through a 3 month wait for a "proper" sleep study.  One of the reasons they gave as a possible cause of his atrial fibrilation was sleep apnea.  He's already resisting wearing the mask because he is claustrophobic, REALLY claustrophobic.  But he promised to try, so I guess that's a start.

Rant - Hmmmm....the weather.  I know I sound like a broken record, but I REALLY like the hot, humid weather we had a few weeks ago.  I wi**** would return and STAY longer than a few days.  I'd be just as happy with anything over 80, at this point!

Rave - At this precise moment, BABY SWINGS!  LOL!  Dub has been very clingy and only wants his mommy, which means he will only nap while laying on my chest (which I love by the way).  But he is sleeping in his swing right now and doesn't seem to be waking up.  As much as I would love to just sit and hold him, which I do most days, my house is a mess and I haven't had a chance to brush my teeth today!  So....off I go to try to get some things done.  I just got dressed about 5 minutes ago.

Enjoy the day!  Tina

As usual I/m checking in, in the evening.:

Rant-Home ownership and all it's problem.  Just when you think your getting a handle on things something else goes wrong.

Rave-The wonderful weather we are having.  At least it isn't stinking hot while doing all this work.
