Anybody else with Arthritis?

I've got psoriatic arthritis (somewhat like rheumatoid) and I've just been dying this last week/week and a half.  Wondering if those of you with arthritis have been noticing a flare-up or if I need to get in to my rheumy.  It's probably been 3 1/2 years since I've had a bad flare and 2 celebrex a day just isn't helping much!
Thanks!

I also have psoriatic arthritis and my knee has been killing me all week.  I figured it was all the rain this past week.  I only take arthritis Tylenol  . . it seems to be working for me.   If I walk everyday it's doesn't seem as bad but I work a swing shift and this is my week on midnight's so it's hard for me to get my walk in I was wondering if that might be my problem . . . but after I reading you post I thinking more weather related.

I have rheumatoid arthritis. Been a living flare up since it hit me a year ago. However for the past 6 weeks or so it has been more managable. That is becasue we doubled my prednisone.

Currently I take 10mgs of prednisone twice a day, 800mgs of Motrin every 5 hours (with a max of 3,200mgs per day) also take Methatrexate once a week 7 of the 2.5 tabs.

All was ok, like I said but since Sunday I am feeing the pain again. Figured it was from overdoing it this past weekend as I worked & played hard & slept very little as I worked the Howell Balloon Fest. Perhaps it is more weather related?

Sadly my next treatment step is those dog gone shots...

Hey Sax -

I feel for you.  I haven't had any flare ups recently.  But I can remember when it was quite frequent.  The only thing that would help give me some relief was ibuprophen.  I'd make sure to take it on a full stomach and took tums as well.  Hope you feel better soon.

I have had no luck with Celebrex so I stopped taking it. I have had lots of serious flares lately ....I am not sure if it is weather or what?! When I have a flare I have to do a long burst of Prednisone 30mg 2-3xper day and a long taper usually over months. I tried methotrexate no luck, I tried Enebrel no luck, I have had some luck with Ultram ER 300mg QID but that i**** and miss dependin on symptoms, tried many many many any others and norhing stops the pain and allows me to function like a human being should!
