Hi! New to group, have insurance questions!

Hi Everyone, I have to admit, I have been a lurker for quit some time, but I have finally decided to take the plunge and get the lap band surgery.  I just had a couple insurnace questions for those of you that have been there, maybe you can point me in the right direction.
My insurance right now is Medicaid (Straight) but on the 1st of August it is going to change to Medicaid (PHP).  I live pretty central to both Lansing and Grand Rapids, does anyone have any suggestions of a Dr or know of one in my area that takes my insurance? 
I would love any input that anyone has!!!

Mine is Dr. Gluck, hes in Muskegon, but he has worked with some on the Health Plan and Molina.  I was trying to finish Health plans requirements before I went and seen him.  I was later approved for Medicare which had no requirements. 
I would suggest just calling some of the Dr.s people have on here and see what they require.  The biggest part may not be finding a Dr. to do the surgery, but jumping through the hoops that your PHP (might) require.

Thanks for the info.  I called around a few places and I am going to go in for a consultation at Sparrow next week.  I am excited an nervous all at the same time!!
