traveling to MI and looking for a support group

Hi Everyone,

I am coming home to Michigan on 3 July and am looking for a support group meeting to attend in the Flint or Bay City area.  I live in Austria and we have occasional support groups but I don't find them too helpful, they are geared more toward initial information. 

Does anyone know of any meetings in this area??

I'm not sure how long you'll be in town, but there is a support group meeting at Hurley Bariatric Clinic on Monday, July 7th at 5:30 p.m.  (2700 Robert T. Longway Boulevard, Flint, MI)  Normally this group is led by a staff member or doctor at the clinic, but our guest presenter this month will be Jim - the leader of the informal Flint group who is also a patient of Hurley.  I'm not sure if he'll have a formal presentation prepared or if it'll just be open discussion and Q&A - but it should be a good meeting this month. 

If you'll be in town the following week, we'd love to have you at the Bay City Support Group meeting on Monday, July 14th at 6:30 p.m.  (PM me for the address and such)

That's super!!  I'm going to try to attend both support group meetings.  Certainly the one in Flint.  I'll be in town until the 19th so that works out perfectly.
