Morning all,

Just finished my protein shake, on to coffee or iced tea in a while.

I golfed yesterday for the 1st time this year, the last time I golfed was last fall, and the time before that was prob. 1994 :).  I think I'm going to take it back up, but I'll need new clubs, oh well, it will be worth it, as bad as I play it was a good workout LOL!!

Q:  I don't  buy anything from infomercials, my hubby however, now that's another story :), I have to talk him out of so much stuff it's ridiculous at times :).

Have a great day all,

Edie

Good morning!  I am a Billy Mays fan because of the show Pitchmen.  If you've never seen the show, it really shows you how they choose the products they sell.  They go from meeting the inventors, usually everyday, average people, to testing and pitching the product.  For example, the "Awesome Auger" was invented by a guy who survived a plane crash and is now paralyzed.  The "Green Again" spray (to cover bare spots in your yard) was invented by a self-employed landscaper.  Their products were taken and made national and now those people are on their way to being millionaires, thanks, in part, to Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan.  Based on the show, he's a pretty likeable guy with a 20-something year old son (that looks just like him...beard and all) and a 3 or 4 year old daughter.  So, it's sad that he died out of the blue at a young age.

QOTD: I use Oxi-clean with every load of laundry.  It is the ONLY thing that works to take out the BO from my husband's clothes, who sweats buckets.  I have a pedi-paws.  It works, but my beagle is scared to death of it.  The doxie doesn't mind it.  I'm sure I have other stuff around because my inlaws buy that stuff all the time. LOL!  But after watching Pitchmen, I wouldn't be as leary about buying stuff that Mays was pitching.

Enjoy the day!  Tina

Wow its been a busy morning.  Maybe because of month end or quarter end, but they day has flown by.

Physical therapy kicked my butt on Friday, ended up in alot of pain and went home and drugged myself.  They revised my therapy today, which seems to be better.    I actually had moments today with no heavyness or pain in my foot.   Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel.

My goal is to do another 5k in August.  My therapy runs most of this month.  So I am in search of a 5k late July or August.

Pam

PS Pam I read your blog regarding your Saturday race.  Maybe I will stay out of the Bay City area.
