What a week it was, first Michael Jackson, now Billy Mays the Sham-Wow infomercial guy. I heard the reality show he had was pretty good.....
QOTD-Have you ever bought anything from an infomercial, if so what? I have never bought anything from an infomercial because I mostly like to see what I get before I buy...

Deb, BIlly was the Oxy Clean guy, not the Sham Wow guy. I totally loved the ShamWow guy until Tina told me he got arrested for hitting a prostitue!!! Anyway.............
I bought a window cleaner (didn't work) from an infomercial, and just recently I bought that hair remover "AS SEEN ON TV". That doesn't work so well, either. I watch those dumb infomercials and think that I will buy what they are selling, but I usually just turn off the TV and go to bed.

Morning everyone
We got home from camping yesterday... stopped in Harrison to see Mom and spend the night on Saturday... It was a nice break from home but it is really good to be back... DH is off for two weeks for a temporary shutdown at his job so we are going to try to get some projects done around the house.
Just up and at em here and trying to get motivated to go to work right now. It has been a weird week with everything going on in the news. But hey like someone I know said at least we are not hearing about Jon and Kate right?
QOTD: I never bought anything from tv but we do have those furniture slider things that used to be on tv... We love them and use them all the time to move stuff on the carpets... especially our big furniture.

Yeah! Those furniture slider thingies work great! Being single they help me out a ton when I need to move furniture and stuff. I even moved a completely full 5-drawer industrial type filing cabinet all by myself with these things.

My weekend was uneventful - working midnight's all I feel like I do is eat and sleep . . not much time for anything else.
I did love the music of the Jackson Five when I was young - but enough already . . hey what about Farrah!
QOTD- I got a "air stepper" and it works great. . . the first year I worked the midnight shift I can't tell you all the stuff I bough****ching TV when it was slow at work . . . now I read or work on a craft project when it's slow.

Good morning all!
finishing up my coffee and about to switch to grape smash in a bit. I had a good weekend -- productive and relaxing. I'm making my way through Spring Cleaning (just a tad bit late) and have finished the kitchen, next up is the dining room.
QOTD -- yes, I bought something from an infomercial. It was for weight loss... can't remember the name of it, but basically it was CDs of relaxing, meditation music and someone talking about self affirmation and self worth stuff. I paid way too much for it. It didn't work, of course.
Nowadays if I see something on an infomercial that I think I might want, I just go to the Great Lakes Crossing Mall and check out the "As Seen on TV" store so I can tough the product before I buy it - which is rare.
