Thanks, Edie.  Yesterday, after we got home, he offered to go to the grocery store for me, if I needed anything.  He did run in and get Chlorine and when he got home, he said he felt like he was 16 again....He was FREE!   LOL!  

I'm glad to hear it, like I said, I'm sure that was so good for his self esteem!!

I'm happy for all 3 of you!

I can't believe it's the last Friday in June.  If you hadn't said something I wouldn't have believed it.  Yikes, time is really flying.
I really enjoyed MJ's music, but didn't like to look at him.  He was just scarey in his 'later' years.
Tomorrow we've got a wedding and a graduation party to go to.  Then Sunday I leave for a month in Interlochen.  YaHoo..........  Just me and the dogs.  DH will be up for one week and maybe on weekends.  We've got a lot of work to do when he's up there, so it won't be too much of a vacation for him, but us RETIREES RULE!
Today is beautiful, so I'm taking the pups for a long walk.

Just finishing my lunch!  Broccoli slaw salad w/ grilled chicken, mmmmm.

I'm saddened to hear about MJ, but please enough is enough!  I agree, they WAY overdo these things.  It's the everyday people I spend my thoughts on.  Like right now I'm thinking about how sad this time is for Phyllis, and how thrilled I am that AJ gets to drive.  If we all settled our thoughts out of the stars I think we'd all be more happy, jmo.

Q:  Let's see this weekend....well tonight we're having a lighting round of clean the house!  jealous??  LOL, I like to clean the house on Thur or Fri as soon as I get home so I can enjoy my weekend more.  I'm doing some shopping tomm w/ my sis, a friend is coming over for dinner tomm. night, and will prob spend the night, and I'm golfing Sunday afternoon.   Sounds like a nice summer weekend to me:).  And thanks Deb for pointing that out, I can't believe June's almost gone, makes me wanna cry (I want summer to last!!!)

Afternoon all,

Just finished my 2nd physical therapy appt.  1.5 hours long, man did I get a work out today. 

QOTD - not sure what is up for the weekend.  I currently have no plans.  I have been spending most my extra time at the nursing home, we were told last Saturday my 97 year old grandma was in her final days.  Apparently she is not quite ready, they have had to fight with her to keep her in bed.   May take my son to see Up.  He seen it once, but wants to go again and I have free tickets.

Well it's actually early in the AM on Saturday and you are all probably sleeping.  I stated my midnight shift tonight. 
I didn't get to walk the 5k walk I had planned on for Thursday evening - I can't believe that I'm sick in June.  Stuffed up, sore throa****ery eyes . . well next month.  The way my code days fall and the vacation I took off in July I only work 8 days the whole month . .  YIPPEE!

Well I will be working around the house this weekend I still have a little painting to do and then out to the back yard to put in a patio.  I did get my new carpet down today and it looks very nice.  Isn't if funny how we do things around the house that we put off . .  like right before a graduation party we do painting outside we have been putting off . . . well I'm doing all this work just to put my house up for sale . . I may just decide to stay . . . LOL
