PHYLLIS ASKED ME TO POST....

that her dad died early this morning...she is doing ok right now. she said to thank those that have offered up prayers and support.

may her dad rest in peace.

Although I don't know Phyllis as I am rather new to the boards, my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family at this time.  It must be so very hard to lose a parent.

I didn't know Phyllis eaither being new too.  But, my heart goes out to her.  So, sorry to hear of her loss.

I'm just now hearing of Phyllis's loss.  Have not been on the boards lately.  I am so sorry to hear of her loss.  I went through this with my husbands mother.  It was devastating and she wasn't my mom.  I can't even bear to imagine going through it with my own parents.  Please give her my deepest sympathies Judy.  My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

This has been an icredibly hard time, my dad suffered long and much with his illness and the dying process. I am glad it is finally over for him.
You know how it goes though, having been there yourself, I wish you many warm and happy memories of your MIL. They come in handy.
