Has anyone heard from Katie?  Her surgery was Monday @ 10:45.  I hope everything went well..

hi my sweet jan.. i smiled when i saw your post.. all went well, i am home.. and very tired... no complications at all, just had my first protein shake.. and that seems to have gone down well.. the worst part so far is taking  crushed up pills!!!  oh my word, it is horrible!!

dr genaw is great, the facillities were beautiful, care was fantastic... I am just really tired as can be expected... if you have any specific questions, jan, just privately emial me..... thanks for caring....

Really glad to hear it.  How're you doing being a month out?

I'm doing great. I had my RNY via laproscopy. I was sore for about a week and a half.  I haven't experienced dumping yet. I'm tolerating everything I eat including cooked and some raw veggies. I've been eating small salads with meat/cheese for lunch or dinner.  I feel really good and went back to work this past week.
